We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

FinlandQuite honestly nothing to suggest for improvement. Here you are getting a brilliant home experience with great hosts. The hosts primarily speak French, which added to the authenticity of our stay. With a little help from technology (and OpenAI!), communication was easy and enjoyable. It was a fun part of the experience, and we connected wonderfully despite the language difference.
Staying at Chambres d'hôtes de la baie felt like visiting close family. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness, generosity, and warmth. The home itself is beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Every detail, from the room to the breakfast table, was perfect. What really made our stay special was the atmosphere. It didn’t feel like a business at all, just a lovely couple opening their home to us. We enjoyed sharing breakfast together with the owners and other guests each morning, chatting and learning more about the region and French life. It was peaceful, sincere, and deeply memorable. Merci beaucoup for everything, we hope to return one day! Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable! C'était comme rentrer chez soi le temps d’un week-end. Tout était parfait, du petit déjeuner aux belles conversations partagées. À bientôt, nous espérons !

The hosts were excellent and the breakfast was very tasty. The outside seating areas were amazing and we loved the house.

The hosts were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It was a joy to stay here and we wouldn't hesitate to come back. Also the breakfasts were brilliant and Nora the dog is my new best friend.. They went the extra mile for our request for decaf coffee.
