Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFor 2 adults and 2 teenagers it felt a little too snug at times and although the kitchen had all the utensils it was a little too small to properly cook a meal in.
The location is fantastic, close to main centre and key attractions. It is cosy and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evenings, which was a great asset.

United KingdomNot really a problem but there is no TV. At the moment there is a lot of noise from a building being renovated opposite. From 8am to 6pm in the week.
Personal attention of the management lady Benedicte. The location is great for restaurants and the lifts. Would definitely book it again.

United KingdomThe bathroom window is clear glass and could do with some privacy sticky-plastic coating or something - it quickly steams up so just turn the shower on then get ready; even though it's not directly overlooked some mightn't be exhibitionists in that way! It would have been nice to find a handful of coffee pods already in the apartment (they're about 5-6 EUR for 8 in the Spar). The apartment does have WiFi but the internet speed is poor by today's standards (I measured 1.14MB/s down, 0.07MB/s up) - fine for a couple of people browsing and messaging, but I think it'd quickly struggle at full capacity with everyone using it. Some might have to switch back to cellular data (I did to watch the odd video and there were only 2 of us!). Check you have enough data and roaming is allowed and you'll be fine - the coverage even on the mountain was excellent! 🙂
Superb location; in quiet area with views of Le Brévent and the gentle sound of the river. Hosts communication was excellent, and keys were in a lock-box; handy for our 1am arrival time! There is plenty of space to spread out and chill, including a long but narrow balcony. It's right next to the railway line but we only heard the infrequent trains when we had the windows and doors open. We were offered a private car parking space outside (or along the street if it was full but we didn't need it). There's basement storage for snowboards/skis, boots, helmets, etc. The kitchen is suitably stocked, including a large fondue pan and a Krupps coffee machine (though we had to buy our own coffee pods). The apartment was clean, and if anything, a little too warm - but better that way than too cold! Location-wise it's a good 15-20min walk up steep narrow (but thankfully not busy) roads to the Planpratz gondola. Conversely, that makes it a pleasant walk downhill after a day on the slopes! The Brévent ski area is excellent - lots of wide slopes/runs with a bias toward beginners/intermediate - I'd say great area to learn and to progress: the Blue Parsa run with the chairlift return was my favourite for practising turns - a nice mix of steeper sections with nice run offs to flatter areas. There are great lift connections to red and black runs and when we were there the queues were fine (10min wait at most, often 2min). Altitude 2000 cafe served really good food and drinks. There's an excellent and friendly Board/Ski rental en-route about a block away (ChamonixSki dot com). It's 5min walk to the main Av. Ravanel le Rouge for bars, restaurants and a decently stocked mini supermarket (Big Mountain Brew is excellent, and Beer O Clock lets you pull your own!).

The host was fantastic she even came to collect us from bus station because of the rain. The apartment was warm and had everything we needed lovely clean bedding and white fluffy towels. The apartment is in a great location just a short walk from the town. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return

United StatesThe address provided did not exist. The host later gave the correct address not specifying which room. Getting in was a major problem. The apartment did not look like the photo. It is old, and was stripped bare; there was almost nothing there; we had to ask for hand soap. Our other couple left and rented a hotel room; they paid for two locations instead of staying here (the modern hotel was less expensive and far more comfortable than this old apartment).
It was fairly large.
