    Nothing

The pool is a lovely oasis, the breakfast is excellent, Franklin and Louis are wonderful hosts, and the resident cat and peacocks are adorable.

Amazing Stay at the Chateau Campuget!

A couple of things to keep in mind when booking: as mentioned, the toilet situation may not be ideal for everyone, and dinners are only served starting in June. Since we booked in May, this was a bit inconvenient given the limited nearby dining options. It’s definitely something to inquire about ahead of time if dinner service is important to you.

We had a wonderful stay at the Chateau! Our bedroom on the upper floor was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and it featured two newly renovated shower stalls. However, it’s worth noting that there was no toilet upstairs—the only one available was on the first floor, which was a bit inconvenient for us as an older couple, especially during the night. Our host, Louis, greeted us every morning with a huge smile and served breakfast in the cozy, romantic setting of the beautiful atrium. The breakfast spread included delicious pastries, coffee, cheeses, homemade jam, cereal, and a locally made apple juice that was absolutely to die for. Louis is a very pleasant young man, always attentive to our needs. We really enjoyed chatting and sharing laughs with him—it was a lovely way to start each day. The Chateau itself offers amazing views and is full of old-world charm. The buildings are well maintained and radiate warmth and history. Overall, we highly recommend the Chateau for anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in a romantic setting. Don't miss the chance to sample the excellent wines from their winery! Helene and Des

The staff member who looked after us, Louis, was incredibly kind, helpful, and pleasant to speak with. We had arrived unusually late due to a train cancellation issue, and although it was after hours for us to request an extra blanket, Louis handled it with grace and quickness.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Campuget has a generous attitude toward their guest. One is well card for in every way. Louis, was amazing. He is the go to guy for everything. He is always accessible, helpful, and kind. His hospitality comes from within and is very much a part of who he is. The room was large and comfortable, the grounds spacious and beautiful. The wine so very good and priced reasonably. The owner Franklin Dalle served us wine and sat with just the two of us in an informal wine tasting. He is of course very knowledgeable about wine, yet unpretentious , and warm and kind. Such a privilege to meet him. The food we had for dinner was outstanding! We had lamb ( raised on their property) that was so delicious! The beef we had the next night was perfectly prepared rare yet charred on the outside with wonderful seasoning. Dining was enjoyable sitting outside and all who worked there were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was our best breakfast of the trip so far. And, we have found a new wine we love! We have never liked Rose’ until now! Their wines very good and priced well. We hope to return!

This property is like a small piece of paradise. Surrounded by vineyards, the chateau has a rustic and elegant charm with expansive gardens and beautiful peacocks who greet you every morning. The room itself is large and comfortable. Breakfast is hearty and served in a beautiful conservatory and lounge. And Louis, who takes care of property is super helpful. The property is central and well located from all major attractions like Arles, Pont Du Gard, Avignon and Nîmes. Overall 10/10.
