Everything was absolutely perfect. Claire was very helpful with all of our needs. It was an amazing place with an amazing breakfast.

Claire was a superb host, very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is lovely and well designed, the breakfast in the garden plenty and of high quality; a wonderful start into the day. The pool and outdoor seating area is an added bonus on hot days. The driveway towards the château is magnificent, lined by beautiful trees. We very much enjoyed our stay at Chateau de la Ronde, thank you, Claire.

Wonderful chateau, probably the nicest room we have ever stayed in (we have stayed in some amazing hotels but the decor was my favourite) - huge space, spotlessly clean and such stylish decor and artefacts (Clare the owner is an interior designer). So relaxing, breakfast outside was a highlight of our holiday, we had assistance with charging our rental car which saved the day for us, and she went out of her way to assist us with anything we needed. When I arrived I was really burnout after work and running my business, but 5 nights here really refreshed me, and I felt like a new person. Overall an amazing find - we wouldn't hesitate to return. Nothing - I really don't think our stay could have been better.

This is a little chateau with very few rooms/guests. It has a nice garden and lovely decent sized swimming pool. The interiors are decorated with style and care. The hostess Claire will ask you to fill out your preferences for breakfast the evening before so she will have exactly what you want ready the next morning. I really appreciated the amound of fresh fruit :) All the teas, jams and china at breakfast are French luxury brands. There are very few other guests so it truly feels luxurious to be able to enjoy this kind of place in peace and quiet. The Alphonsy suite had other guests above it, so obviously you can hear some steps but this didn't bother us that much. Claire organized bikes for us to rent which was super nice. The chateau is a bit far from Saumur and shops/resturants so a car or bikes are necessary to get around.

The wifi did not reach the pool area. The TV was a bit small and not modern enough to support wireless display.

Claire has made this project her passion... restoring a chateau for a 3-room deluxe experience in the countryside, gorgeous grounds and pool, with a view of Samur Chateau from the pool and the bedroom, in the distance. Samur itself is a lovely little French town on the Loire, vibrant with good shopping, and wonderful Chateau and wine. Claire's chateau is a wonder of modern decoration and design. Everything is like from an architect's book and features ultra high-end furnishings, fixtures and decoration. Absolutely loved it as you will. Breakfast was an art form:) and communication with Claire easy and friendly.

Nothing could improve this once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will love it.
