In need of an update. Quite a lot of things didn’t work especially in the bathroom.

Spacious, comfortable. Huge, well-equipped kitchen was great for big meals with the family.

More selection of venues to have an evening meal as the only one close to hotel had language barrier with no menus in English . Only offered toasted cheese sandwich.

Breakfast was ok but a bit limited selection with only croissant,cereal , yogurt, cheese and bread. coffee very nice Scenery superb.

There were only 2 forks to use in the selection of cutlery. The breakfast was disappointing.

It met our needs with 2 double beds and one bunk bed. It had a spacious bathroom and plenty of hot water. We felt like we were glamping.

Friendly and helpful manager/owner! Delicious dinner and excellent wine chosen for us! Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was somewhat average!

The location was perfect for us and the swimming pool, whilst small, kept our children fully entertained. The self contained flat was functional. The play area was also excellent and the views were stunning.

The cleanliness of rooms and surroundings were far from the level we expected from a french castle.

Wonderfully charming french castle - you certainly get that castle feel. Plenty of activities - pool, table tennis and playground for kids

Absolutely nothing!

The room was stunning! We had a wing to our family. The view from the room is beautiful and the breakfast was exceptional! If you want a beautiful stay in a quiet area then this is your place!

This property was dated and in bad repair. The four bedroom house we booked was so damp it smelled terrible or mouldy. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were moved to a different room which was better . But over all Disappointed . Breakfast was very simple, and not worth 10 euros a head we paid.

What an amazing place. We stayed in a building near the pool (open until 9!) The room was lovely suiting all our needs with air con and there was a shared kitchen and lounge should we have needed it. We could have had breakfast for 10€ which is in the main house. The atmosphere is really laid back and the host was so helpful. Choices of rooms or little seperate houses on site. Just a beautiful place! We would definately return.

The location is lovely. Rural yet close to the nearest town. Comfortable and spacious bedroom. The manager/owner was delightful and helpful. A lovely one night stay.

You don’t actually stay in the chateau, but in side building , no hot water in the evening. Breakfast way overpriced for few pastries

Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with bed bugs. We were bitten several times during the night and inspection of the sheets and underneath the mattress showed evidence of bugs. Fortunately as this was a one night stay on our way back to Calais then England we only took a small case inside. Nevertheless there has been a lot of hot washing needed on our return and freezing of our bags to ensure we have not brought any bugs back to our home! We stayed in Le Cidrerie, separate from the main house. Accommodation was functional for our needs. Cleaning could be improved. There were dried crusty sponges left by the kitchen sink and some door handles broken in the kitchen, as well as a broken fridge door. Insides of kitchen cupboards grimy. Bunk beds very wobbly. There were 3 very strong smelling plug in air fresheners in place when we got in which was overpowering (but to be fair I don't like air fresheners - someone else might have not found this to be a problem). After unplugging these and leaving the windows open for a while it was fine.

We were delayed on our journey and the hosts were accommodating about us arriving late. Communication pre arrival was timely. Host was friendly on arrival. We had eaten before arrival so did not use the cooking facilities but had breakfast in the main property the next day which was simple but perfectly adequate for our needs. Water pressure in shower excellent and plenty of hot water for a showers. Powerful air conditioning. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Good children's play area (although you need to be very switched on with young children as there is a large unfenced moat surrounding the main property and adjacent to the play area - play area is fenced but gate not secure).
