Such a beautiful place, located in an ideal location to explore all of the lovely places nearby. Very historic buildings with history that you can feel in the heart. Jeff & Jules-Nimo were lovely, helpful people and ensured we were happy throughout our stay. The breakfasts were lovely, we had home made apple crumble from the apple trees too!! Lovely room, comfortable bed. Very much recommended.

The historical background to the venue, the owner Jeff, the chateaux setting, the architecture and the helpfulness in getting a restaurant booking. We would definitely look forward to a return visit.

The beauty of this place as you drive down the drive is a welcome sight when you’ve been on the road! The history of the site is incredible and I would really recommend walking around once you are settled. Jeff was the most welcoming & humble host, even upgrading our room to congratulate us on our honeymoon. The homemade breakfast in the morning was also delicious! Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, and quaint French stay.

Chateau-momastere de La Corroirie is beautiful and utterly charming. Jeff was a wonderful host, and made sure we had plenty of cold water and ice for our hot onward journey. We loved the self-guided tour and incredible history of the place. Breakfast was delicious, especially the honey that is produced on site- we just had to get a jar to take home! There was a communal fridge, freezer and small kitchenette which was really handy. Everything was clean and very comfortable.

The stay was exceptional! I shall say a dream come true. The chapel, the farm, the sunset and the room itself were all superb. I had the pleasure of staying at the Pastoral room which is exactly what I had wanted. I also had the best interactions with the hotel owner Jeff. Kind, warm-hearted and incredibly helpful. I can’t think of a better getaway in the Loire Valley region! I highly recommend.

There seemed to be a prevailing sense of dustiness in the bedroom and hallway. Breakfast was meagre and the host could have been more helpful

The Monastry was very interesting and worth exploring. The accommodation was quite large and had excellent toilet/shower facilities. It was very quiet and peaceful. A large comfortable bed ensured a good nights sleep.

The location is fantastic, beautiful spacious rooms and the building in general is very well renovated. There is a common kitchen with a large fridge, tableware, microwave (no cooking plate) so you can prepare simple meals and eat there if you like.

This place is a gem! Jeff, our host was extremely accommodating! We arrived before check in time. Decided to sit at a table and chairs and enjoy our picnic! Jeff noticed we were there and was so kind to bring us some real wineglasses and a cutting board! The history of this place is so very interesting! Self guided tour was a lot of fun! Beautiful property! We even enjoyed a BIG storm from the safety of our room. We asked for a recommendation for dinner! Jeff suggested and made us reservations at a great local family owned restaurant! The food was truly amazing. Husband and wife team! Each morning we were treated to a lovely breakfast!!

Jeff was very welcoming and gave us a booklet to explain the history of the buildings. We chose the accommodation because it sounded interesting and unusual. It was very spacious but clean, the bed was comfortable and location very peaceful. Jeff was really helpful and booked an excellent restaurant nearby.

Nothing really, everything was perfect.

This place is magnificent. Probably the nicest place we have ever stayed. Where heritage, art and great location meet. If you are looking for a very quiet place, in a remote area, and love history this is it. The place was a monastery till the 18th century and they have converted some parts of it as a b&b. The croissants in the morning where probably one of the best I have ever tasted and the rooms are big, quiet and charmingly decorated with all modern facilities.
