Basic but clean room. Kitchen if you need. Nice view, helpfull owner who gave us information about cultural events in Conques village. Simple but delicious breakfast (coffee, bread an cheese) and dinner with other tourists. Friendly dog meeting guests and walking in the garden

The property itself was Good. My confirmation said check in at 15:00. I was not allowed to check in until 16:30 and had to wait 2,5 hours in 35 degree heat. There was an umbrella to keep out of the sun, but still very hot.

Parking right next to the accommodation. Shared bathroom and kitchen for only three rooms. Everything is clean and nicely equipped. Friendly and helpful owner. Delicious barbecue dinner served outside for guests. A wonderful way to meet and interact with other hikers/tourists.

Minor issue: the breakfast could be more substantial for walkers.

Lovely comfortable accommodation, with lots of indoor and outdoor areas to relax and socialise. Francois is a lovely welcoming host, with nothing too much trouble. Facilities are clean and comfortable, dinner is simple and tasty, close to cathedral and town.

Francois was very kind and helpful to this solo American traveler. He provided dinner and breakfast and I found the community aspect to truly be in the spirit of the Chemin. It was a bit expensive for pilgrim lodgings but with a private room and an option for private bathing I really cannot complain.

It's a bit poorly soundproofed, but it didn't disturb my sleep because a) I was super tired and b) I had earplugs with me - recommend bring those!

Comfy bed, clean showers and toilets. François the host was just excellent and so friendly - and I loved the super cute doggy (Roi, if I remember correctly?) 🐶🐶🐶 and the dinner was excellent, too!! Thanks for everything!

Unfortunately we had a few bug-friends who wanted to stay with us in the room. They are not dangerous but it was a bit annoying that we had to check the mattresses before sleeping. Mosquito-nets on the windows could be useful.

as soon as my friend and I arrived, we were welcomed by the owner. He was very nice and friendly, explained and showed us around. We booked a double room but because there where not a lot of guests, we got a bigger one! The beds were comfortable. On request dinner can be eaten in the gîte.

Absolutely nothing.

When we arrived in the rain the lady allowed us in early. The room was clean and functional for us and close to great food (Chez Dani for a huge, tasty and great priced lunch with lovely staff) and Conques is beautiful with limited accommodation in season, so we were fortunate to find availablity though it was pricier than other areas.

François was very rude and aggressive towards me when I stipulated that I thought 80 € was expensive, he didnt let me finish and abused me verbally for quiet awhile. My issue was that the booking was made for 2 when in fact i was alone and that I wouldnt get dinner nor breakfast for a hostel night !! Eventually he realized that i had been placed in a dormitory rather than a private room. The next day he offered me breakfast i guess he was feeling remorseful but that didnt make up for it. The town offers every night a sort of vigil in the church, really beautiful, the only thing is that there is no lights leading to the gite on very steep and treacherous steps !!

The breakfast was quite minimal. I needed more than tea, toast and jam before a big day of walking. The local bakery filled me up!

We received a very warm welcome from Francoise and his super friendly pointer-dog. Francoise, is very gregarious and happy to help. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the proximity to the gorgeous old city of Conque, also the warm evening allowed for a very pleasant communal meal outside . It was a great opportunity to meet fellow walkers on the GR65.

We were just hot! It was very hot while we were there, and although we had a very small fan… 3”.. it was just hot! A larger fan would have been helpful. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely place! We upgraded our room to a private bathroom… we had a large room in the attic. It was comfortable… with exception of the heat, with a lovely view and comfortable beds, linens and towels. We were able to use the washing machine and the dryer. Had a fabulous dinner, as well. Highly recommended stay, in the beautiful village of Conques.

The breakfast was the only part of the stay which was a little 'light'. There was only bread and butter to eat, and a hot chocolate and some fruit juice to drink. Nothing more was offered. But the host was very gracious, and helpful for me, and very friendly.
