The self contained apartment had everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful and respected guests privacy.

If you were expecting a conventional toilet, then you may be surprised to note that it was an eco toilet. However, it was perfectly clean.

View of the chateau from the room. Easy to get to the village centre. Spacious and designed well.

Has a composting toilet which some might find unusual. This was fine but we only discovered this through reviews and with the booking confirmation. The recently renovated apartment is designed and equipped well, however, aspects appear hurried, e.g. interior shutters did not keep out the light

The location and stunning view of the castle ruin.

The hostess was wonderful but the roof is a little low and the steps almost impossible with big luggage.

Large spacious attic room with lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom area. Kitchenette complete with kettle, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator. Beautiful view of nearby castle. Quiet and peaceful location. Friendly owner. Excellent shower and WIFI. Comfortable bed. Free parking near property.

Only a curtain separates the lounge from the bathroom - a door/ sliding door would allow more privacy. The toilet is a non flushable compost toilet. This was not a problem for me but may not be to everyone’s liking.

The location is amazing, right in the center of town and the apartment has a wonderful view shown in the photos attached. The hosts partner welcomed us when we arrived, he was so friendly and even called a restaurant in town to see if they could accommodate us on short notice. It’s a really large space and quiet in the apartment.

We knew there would be a compost toilet and expected that. However, we didn’t expect there wouldn’t be a door to the bathroom. Staying in a apartment without a bathroom door was quite uncomfortable for us and we ended up crossing the street to use the public toilets. I feel like this should have been mentioned or could easily be modified; it seems unnecessary to not have a door separating the bedroom and toilet. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, it seemed to cave in the middle.

Quirky loft with great views of a great town. Friendly and helpful hosts. Spiral staircase needs to be negotiated but well worth the effort. Would stay again.

Nothing. Enjoyed the room and the atmosphere.
