Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaHost didn’t provide wifi and we had to find our own parking which was a challenge. No elevator
Fantastic location in the centre of Aubusson. Wonderful restaurant, get your reservation in earlier you want to dine inside, it’s very popular with the locals as well. Room was exceptionally spacious, once we got the bags in up the stairs it was super comfortable.

United KingdomParking was a distance away , had to unload and then park up . But plenty of free parking if willing to walk . No Wi-Fi, if there was, it was not given to us. A little noisy at night but to be expected in the high street.
Spacious and very clean. Good location , excellent restaurant providing French cuisine at a responsible price.

United KingdomThe hotel is amazingly decorated with large rooms giving the impression of staying in a very grand traditional townhouse. The decor and choice of period furniture show the exceptional taste of the owner/proprietor. The added bonus is that we were able to dine well in the shaded courtyard garden. This is a real find and would heartily recommend it .

Attractive period property in the centre of town with tasteful period decor. The rooms were clean & comfortable. The restaurant offered a limited menu but with tasty and well presented food. The service at dinner was excellent & very quick.

United KingdomThe hotel was run with minimal staff input: after our initial arrival, we had to let ourselves in via a gate and two doors using codes which was rather impersonal. We had enquired about dining at the hotel restaurant (on a Sunday evening) but were only informed by text on the day of our arrival that the restaurant would be closed. The breakfast was adequate with brioche, bread and homemade jams and just one cup of coffee but there were no pastries: it was a Monday morning so perhaps the bakery was closed.
A lovely townhouse converted into a small hotel with exceptionally tasteful and elegant decor. Our bedroom was a very good size with large windows overlooking the rear of the property; the bed was substantial and comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size with quality fittings. There was public parking on the street right outside the hotel, though we might have been lucky in getting a space in just the right place.

United KingdomTwisty stairs but, come on, it is an old property.
I didn’t realise that the name of the accommodation was slightly misleading. As was pointed out to us, it is a b&b with 4 bedrooms, not a hotel. That said, WOW. We were in an upstairs bedroom. Up a winding spiral staircase into a spacious area which in turn led to a large lounge with deep leather sofa and chairs, ornate furniture and a selection of books and information. This room led to our bedroom which was through doubled, back to back doors. The room itself was spacious with good storage space. The bed was big and comfortable. Our view was to the rear of the property and overlooked a courtyard type of area which had the tourist info. centre and a couple of older buildings. The bathroom was big with an excellent shower. Breakfast was a selection of bottled juices, croissant, bread, jams and a cheese. Coffee and a variety of teas. The property is in a one way street (roundabout with life sized models of 3 sheep at the top end) and if you are fortunate there will be on road parking in the road. If not, it is the accepted thing to stop and offload luggage. Long term parking is about 4 minutes away. Down the road, at the roundabout take the last exit almost as if you are doubling back on yourself and up to the church on the right to the free carpark. To get to the hotel just go down the stairs opposite the car park. The easy bit is the 113 steps going down, the difficult bit is ……… Don’t turn your nose up at the parking thing. It is worth it for the central position of the property.

The renovation and decorations are beautiful!! It feels like travelling in time. We were upgraded to the family suite, and it was very comfortable, very spacious. The restaurant is also great value for money. Both the outdoor terrace where we ate in the evening and the indoor restaurant where we had breakfast are beautiful. We enjoyed it all! Thank you so much.
