The location, the staff and the layout of the rooms.

One of the power sockets was faulty, the shower head had bad pressure and sprayed all over the floor due to being wonky

    Location near to Sancerre

Breakfast at €12.50 pp per night was only just adequate, and overpriced

Nice hotel, old but stylish and comfortable. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Well located at the EuroVelo 6 route

Good thing we have good condition to take 2 very steep stairs to the 2nd floor

Room was very comfortable, staff were very helpful, convenient location for people cycling along the Loire.

More options for breakfast e.g. eggs

We liked how well the two young men looked after us . The hotel was clean and tidy. The location of the hotel is wonderful, right next to the Loire.

We didn't like having to climb into the bath to have a shower.

Really horrible hotel on every level

Dirty, small, old, smelly and truly horrible staff. The room has absolutely nothing (toothpaste, toilet paper etc.) and super unhelpful staff. Stay far away

Location by the loire and right on the EuroVelo 6 and Loire au Velo routes. There was a safe place to keep our bikes. We were able to bike to Sancerre to explore after we checked in. Good breakfast. Several restaurants and a boulangerie were within walking distance.

A major road across the Loire is next to the hotel so the corner room we had was noisy. It was also hard to get to at the end of a dark narrow hall. The stairs from the lobby were steep with shallow steps.

    Liked the location

Breakfast was the most sparse we've seen since travelling by bike for 5 weeks. It was terrible, very minimal selection. We arrived at 2:00pm cold and wet, as we were cycling and it was raining outside. We were unable to check in until 3:00. Restaurants and bar close at 2:30, so we had to wait outside... 😟

Really welcoming staff, secure parking, view from the room, quirky decor.

Only really one restaurant in walking distance as one was closed for the week.

The location on the banks of the Loire and a few km from the lovely town of Sancerre is excellent. Our room looked out over the river and was very spacious and furnished to a high standard with antique furniture (so much more comfortable than modern hotels). The young man who greeted us was extremely smartly dressed and without being asked assisted us with our luggage. He was extremely helpful and we felt comfortable and at home immediately. The breakfast room was exceptionally clean and the breakfast itself moe than adequate. We will definitely book again we enjoyed our short stay so much.

Possibly a small fridge in the room would have been useful, but its not really an issue for us. Otherwise nothing
