The rooms were a bit outdated, but I think they purposely left it for the feel and ambience.

The location was great. 10 minutes to the Train (RER D) which made it easy to get to the CD airport.

The bathroom floor always got wet after a shower. You can hear some noises from the next room, but nothing that disturbs your sleep. Suggestion: It would be great if it had a mini fridge.

Internet didn't work. There is no private parking space (we booked this place because of parking), but there is enough public parking spaces around. At first we parked on a parking space that had to be paid, but next day, we parked it 20 meters away from a hotel on a free parking space. We tried to get information where is possible to park at the reception when we arrived, and the answer was: "I don't know."

Great area, near station. Super friendly people all around, great food, little oasis in the chaos of Paris. We actually liked this area more than the city centre. Family friendly, not for party animals. The room was super small, but functional, warm water all the time, fresh towels every day.

The wi-fi in the room unfortunately did not work, one had to go to the lobby which is not ideal. The bathroom was rather on the small side but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The breakfast was not included and as it was continental breakfast only I decided not to bother.

The hotel was on the basic side but comfortable and clean. The hotel is located in the suburbs of Paris, about 10 km from the centre. The area seems pleasant and safe enough and there are some restaurants and late opening convenience stores within a short walk of the hotel. Most importantly, the hotel is only 5-10 minutes walk from Maisons-Alfort-Alfortville railway station, from where you can get a double-decker RER train and be in the centre of Paris within 20 minutes. As hotels in the centre of Paris are very expensive, this is a great way to save on accommodation costs.

The bathrooms could be better cleaned. There were black spots between the bathroom tiles. The bathroom were small and it was a bit uncomfortable to use the shower. I do know there are some rooms with more spacious bathrooms but they are not the majority. Sometimes at arrival there was nobody on the reception desk, meaning, anyone could come up to the bedrooms. We didn't see any stranger, but it felt a bit weird not finding always a person in the reception area. It would have been nice to have a clean kettle and cups to make hot coffee or tea brought from the supermarket nearby.

The staff is really helpful and kind. They did their best and were very friendly. The hotel is located nearby a pharmacy, a supermarket, and a good cafe and bakery at the center of Maisons Alfort. And the train station to Paris centre is less than 6 blocks away. The breakfast deal for €7 included: a glass of orange juice, coffee or tea, a crispy croissant and half baguette, with butter and fruit jam. Not the best value for money, but nice and available when you need it.
