Beautiful grounds, very close to Bayeux and all the historic WW2 sites. Breakfast was delicious, our room was fantastic, and the staff weren’t just polite, they made you feel super welcome and they were interested in what you were doing.

Lift (elevator) would be great but manageable to get up or down.

Good location and not far for both the train station and the town centre. The room is very well appointed with a lot of thought into designs and spacious.

A lovely peaceful hotel very close to the centre of Bayeux. The staff were very helpful storing our bicycles and with restaurant suggestions. Breakfast is excellent.

All was excellent. A simple but very good breakfast. Quiet rooms and area. We stayed in the orchard apartments which are very roomy. We stayed for two weeks and would stay here again. The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful - for example Sundays id difficult to get a restaurant in Bayeaux but they made reservations for us. There is also a place to keep you bikes but it is very limited - but nowhere to plug in e-bikes (not an issue really as you can charge the battery in your room)

We had a room in the newear building and it was great, comfortable, new, very quiet and a fantastic king size bed. Great hotel walking distance from the main shopping area. The new extension sits very well in the grounds of the old manor house. The only draw back is that they do not have EV chargers on site. There is a supercharger in the main car park near the hotel. We discovered it ourselves.

Absolutely beautiful large room with a sitting area, huge stunning bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. All staff were amazing and went out of their way to help us especially Nelson & Matthew. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The breakfast could have been better. Service was a bit chaotic and not a great choice. We had breakfast on 2 of our 5 day stay.

We had a great room in the Orchard building apart from the main hotel. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, well serviced each day and had plenty of toiletries provided. The hotel is very close to the historic centre of Bayeux and the staff were very helpful for all our questions on restaurants and tours etc. The hotel is situated in beautiful grounds and is very peaceful and calm. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I found the modern decor a little jarring, but that’s probably just me.

A modern hotel in an old mansion, a few minutes walk from the centre of Bayeux and the Tapestry. Location was perfect, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with twin sinks in the loft and an excellent buffet breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations about where to eat, what more can you ask for?

We had the attic room in the manor, which wasn't the best in a heatwave despite having an AC, since it was a bit old and broke down in the middle of the night. No doors on the bathroom as well, and not the best breakfast choices. Would recommend going for the rooms in the newly built extension, they definitely looked like the better option.

Beautiful, old manor, with a wonderful, large garden, located right in the city centre, so everything was easily accessible by foot. Very nice atmosphere.

Two flights of stairs to room with no lift but this was made clear on booking.

Attic room was quite small (it was advertised as such) but very well set out with walk in shower and beautiful bathroom. No air-conditioning but tower fan provided.

Nothing in particular. It was quite expensive but we discovered the Tour de France bike race was located there the day of our visit. So probably explained the rise in all prices.

Lovely position in a beautiful town. Easy to walk to bars & restaurants & the Tapestry. Super large garden, we had a big modern room with a balcony in the garden extension, had everything we needed. Visited the British Normandy Memorial in Ver sur Mer the next day, which was amazing, very poignant, & memorable. The weather was glorious, the sea turquoise, we were lucky!

Possibly offer breakfast a half hour earlier to accommodate guests who need to meet a morning tour.

The breakfast location in the main house was ideal. We had full view of the spectacular garden, a serene setting. You offered excellent food quality, the best variety of healthy choices we’d experienced in our travels. Staff were cheerful, attentive and helpful.
