This property is delightful as are its owners. It is a perfect French country retreat, beautiful interiors and cared for garden. The bed was complete comfort, the ethics are admirable, we would love to return.

It was honestly the best hotel we’ve stayed at, ever. The host and hostess were absolutely lovely. They speak passionately and knowledgeably about the chateau. The attention to detail is astounding, down to the outlets that have usb and usb-c ports. The bedding and towels are luxurious and heavenly. You’re able to stream anything on the tv from your own device and the tablet enables you to control the climate in the room, amongst other things. The breakfast is indulgent with locally sourced, high quality products, and again accompanied by a knowledgeable explanation. All in all we enjoyed our stay tremendously and will definitely be returning!

Fabulous hotel run by great hosts. A great break before coming home . The room was very comfortable with all the latest tech . A great large comfortable bed completed it all . Breakfast was fabulous great croissants and pain au raisin . The food was fresh . But it’s the hosts who made it . Attentive and they speak English well. I look forward to returning

The only negative I can say is that the room we stayed in, the bath needed to have the shower head connected to the wall high above your head so you could stand under it without holding the shower head to wash yourself off.

The property is beautifully renovated. Ideal location to visit the Normandie Landings memorials. Sylvie and Damion were excellent hosts and they exude passion about their hotel. They could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Lovely friendly couple.

GORGEOUS! Great owners… great coffee… peaceful and a perfect stay. The owners take pride in offering quality, top notch service and amenities. I couldn’t be happier after a nightmare we had the same day with two separate hotels. (One cancelled on us, and one didn’t even answer the door of the chateau to let us in even before check in tome was over). I was so incredibly happy to have found this place, even if it wasn’t planned… we felt so welcome and amazing at the loving atmosphere and hospitality of the owners. Their love of their property radiates from within and from every corner. Everything is well thought out and comfortable. Even the products offered for bathroom use was all natural. Just an exquisite stay and I’m very thankful for them as they answered the phone very late at night due to our unfortunate circumstance and welcomed us with open arms! The property is a must see! Highly recommended!

This charming, family-run business exceeded all expectations. The attention to detail was exceptional, and the host was incredibly helpful, available, and supportive at all times of the day. The chateau is located in a picturesque little village, just 6 km from the coast and several other delightful villages, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Ample on-site parking adds to the convenience. A custom-cooked dinner with a chef can be arranged in advance, though there are plenty of fantastic restaurants just a few kilometres away. The host provided excellent recommendations and even kindly booked a different restaurant for us each night during our stay, which was a wonderful touch. Spa treatments for women can be arranged ahead of time, adding a luxurious option to the experience. There’s also an EV charger conveniently located 100 meters away. Breakfast was truly outstanding, offering a large and varied selection of freshly prepared pastries, breads, cheeses, and cakes, with the menu changing daily to keep things exciting. Overall, this is a gem of a place, combining warmth, exceptional service, and thoughtful amenities. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The chateau is beautiful, very nicely renovated and in a great location. The hosts are incredibly friendly and hospitable, and the food (breakfast) is fantastic.

The location is wonderful for both relaxation and traveling to the Normandy attractions. A great breakfast was served by the owner, who gave us her personal attention. She was also very happy to assist us with restaurant reservations and local tips.

Everything was super The Owners super The rooms super the contakt with other gast in the Hotel was perfect we dit get the family feeling ! The garden is unbelievable we dit get a lot off walnuts from the trees in the garden you can walk to the beach Parking is private in the garden The small village is ferry clean and quiet 🤫 We will come back !

Swimming pool and breakfast is not included in room price, that makes the room price relative expensive But love still this accomodation! Great passionate people and lovely domain.

Hospitality is great of the owners. They are happy to going the extra mile. Location is perfect close to Caen, D-Day spots and Honfleur is even 43min drive so not that far. Breakfast very complet with great self made patisserie, fresh orange juice. Restaurant food is great with perfect bbq or fruit de mer fresh from the fish market

Usually at a 4-star hotel, access to amenities like the jacuzzi is included in your stay, not charged 35 EUR per head. That’s really sneaky — mentioning it only on the room tablet after you’re already checked in isn’t fair at all. It’s not on their website and we were never told about the charge until we saw the huge bill at check-out and we were shocked. There was no welcome basket in the room for our arrival, not even water unless you pick it up yourself from the breakfast bar. Again very unusual for a 4* hotel. Breakfast is really expensive at 26 EUR per person. And normally a seafood platter is one big dish you share, not priced per head. It feels like this hotel is just finding ways to quietly double the cost of everything.

Beautiful building and grounds and very clean. Beds are comfortable and everything was in good working order.

I can’t think of a thing. It was a perfect stay.

The hotel was beautifully renovated, every little detail was assessed, they kept the charm and heritage of the period. The owners we 2 amazing people, you can tell they’ve put their heart and soul into this project and it has turned out to be a 5 star experience. I will be back.
