It’s in a beautiful, peaceful location and has been decorated with an incredible eye to detail. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large spa en-suite and there was a sitting area outside too. The host is very friendly, and helpful and an incredible chef as well. We had dinner there and I strongly recommend it.

We had a truly amazing stay at this unique hotel. The atmosphere was full of character, and it made the experience really special. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming . He made us feel right at home. The food was also fantastic, especially the dinner and breakfast, which were both delicious and beautifully prepared. Overall, a wonderful place with great hospitality. Highly recommended! 🩷

Everything was good for me. I would like to mention a few things to keep in mind - this is an old property. The bathtub has some uneven surfaces that might be inconvenient for some people with special needs / elderly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very convenient. It was a quiet and peaceful location.

Buffet style breakfast was very good. Evening meal of homemade main and sweet course with wine was excellent. Fine local ingredients expertly prepared and presented. A delicious bargain. Delightful, helpful host. Our room had air conditioning which was great as the temperatures were in the high 30's.

Lovely hosts, great location. Can cycle on beautiful segregated cycle paths to the nearby town and then on to the lake and ocean. The evening meal was one of the best I've ever eaten. Better than most restaurants.

I can't see how our stay could have been any better!

We liked the property and its location. This was our first visit to the area & we wanted to spend one night somewhere quiet before moving on to a busier location. We received a warm welcome and found our room very comfortable and we slept very well in the high quality bedding. We had booked for the evening meal to avoid going out that night and were pleasantly suprised by the presentation, quality and value of the food served by our host. We enjoyed eating at a large table and were joined by another couple who had previously stayed at Domaine de l'escuderia and plan to return. The outdoors are well organised with several seating areas and the setting is ideal for a quiet evening. Breafast was served inside at another long table; it was a good continental breakfast with excellent coffee.

The location was perfect for two cyclists heading south through France. Easy to find. Warm welcome by Catherine after we'd met the friendly dogs and admired the horses. Our room was on the first floor and had 2 day beds and a metal four poster bed. The shower room was ornate with modern toilet and massage shower. Very comfortable and elegantly furnished room. There was the possibility of making proper coffee and tea downstairs next to the lounge. Shared eating area for the evening meal and breakfast, both of which were delicious. Lovely conversation and a feeling of well-being flowed. There was also the possibility of washing our clothes in a machine.

House and rooms on the second floor has an old village style - some may like it a lot, some less. You can also hear your neighbors sometime - not critical, but worth to mention.

Old house (was as stable before I guess) in the rural area, very calm and with nice nature around. Close to the ocean. Good wi-fi, good breakfast, very good and not expensive dinner served by owner. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, she gave a great recommendations what to see around, with precise addresses and even organize for us a flight on the small plane - unforgettable experience! Besides the great flight and ocean, Arkachon is a town of one hour driving where you can find great and not expensive oysters and sea food. Nice lake close to location.

We were there for an event at the nearby aerodrome so it was perfect for us, but we're usually city trippers so it was a bit remote for our usual stay. It was nice to see the French countryside, horses, etc.

The old farmhouse has been carefully converted into a boutique hotel with several rooms upstairs and a kitchen/living/dining area downstairs. It's also home to several horses whose owners visit during the day, and while that's separate to the accommodation area, it makes for a nice walk. The country-style breakfast was particularly impressive, and the hosts were very nice.
