A wonderful and interesting bed and breakfast, our hosts were very hospitable and the history of the place is fascinating, quiet neighbourhood and lovely garden setting - especially the hot tub! Lovely breakfast too!

The girls did a great job to restoring antique house and make it comfortable, while preserve character. It has breakfast included, room for group gathering, full kitchen and jacuzzi.

The property was clean comfortable and a real treasure. We got a private tour around the property and we also had the pleasure to learn about the history of the place. It’s a fascinating place where we as family can’t wait to visit again. The hosts were very accommodating and absolutely wonderful. Thank you again!

The walls are very ring-heard. We could hear the snoring of the person next to us and even if you speak, you can hear it in the other room. That's why we could only sleep with earplugs. The fact that breakfast takes place at a large table was also not our thing. However, this is very individual :)

Very nice and likeable hosts and super nice property. Nice room at a good price-performance ratio. The breakfast was good, you share it with others at a large table. You can be in the center of the village in just a few minutes.

I liked everything! It was too cold to use the spa, but it was tempting.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. It is a beautiful blend of old world architecture with modern comforts. The room was comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. It is within easy walking of Montrichard and two place to taste wine. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Everything. The welcome from Angie. The attention to detail of this beautifully renovated home and our room was just lovely. Exactly what was shown on the website. A few minutes stroll took us into the centre of Montrichard a lovely little town on the river Cher. All in all a wonderful pick. Would highly recommended.

The garden is absolutely awesome! Lilypods, flowers, plants galore! A historical site you must not miss! The rooms are very comfy, I loved the Tintin bathroom, and extraordinary drawings and pictures. The hosts are great and well-informed. We will be back!!

This is a beautiful place to stay, I wish we had been there for more than one night. The decor is gorgeous. The bed was supremely comfortable. The breakfast was all you could wish for. Our hostess was friendly and charming.

Beds were hard for our taste, but some people prefer a hard bed. We struggled with figuring out how to access the property the first time (we rang the doorbell several times with no response and our phones weren't working to call, we had to ask some neighbors doing yard work for help). We continued to have difficulty using the key to open the gate doors to enter the grounds. I'd prefer individual tables for breakfast instead of a community table because a couple was clearly sick, we briefly shared the breakfast room with them and they were frequently coughing, not always bothering to covering their mouth or coughing into their hands and then touching the communal serving utensils, and then moved to sit next to us at the only table. Not wanting to ruin our holiday by risking getting their illness, we abruptly left our breakfast. Hard position for Inn owners to be in, but this guest behavior soured our experience.

Wonderful Inn, enjoyed the brief story about the purchase and renovation and how they purchased furniture. Very friendly owners, helped us make a dinner reservation, beautiful gardens. The shower was amazing. Breakfast breads, cheese, jam, crepes, and hard boiled eggs were included and delicious. Easy and free parking on the street.

This is a 7 minute walk from the centre and rather further to the station. Just leave enough time!

Everything, everything, everything. Angie & Emily are exceptional hosts and the property is divine. Request to see the caves, they’re amazing!!! Considering this property and her owners are fairly new to hosting (4 months 😮), Angie and Emily have found their “calling”. Their communication, recommendations for tourist sites to accommodate your timeframe, booking restaurants on you behalf and attention to detail of their beautiful home surpasses your expectations. You sense the passion they have for this property with the extensive renovations to date and their aspirations for further renovations to fulfill is much admired. We look forward to returning and staying longer in this beautiful part of France.

Everything was perfect

Our welcome by Angie when we arrived was fantastic, she and Emily have completely renovated the building and we're so excited to share it with their guests. I can't praise them highly enough. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. If you are close by, you must book this Chambre d'hote. Montrichard is a fabulous town to explore too.

We loved the property. The town seems to be going through a renewal at the moment, once it’s complete I’m sure it will be lovely.
