Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing. Everything met our expectations.
The hotel is well located very near the old town and it is a 10 minute walk to the Grande Rue. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty to eat at breakfast.

CyprusNo kettle. No air conditioner or fan. Room was too hot in August. So we had to keep the window open. Trash bins next to the hotel. You hear the lids bang everytime it is used. Got woken up by the Garbage clearing car early in the morning.
Location was good. 10 minutes walk to the gates of the town. It's a steep walk though. Keep in mind the town is based on a steep hill too. Parking available at the hotel.. And free parking is available next to the hotel also. Bedroom was clean and bed is comfortable. Friendly staff.

United KingdomThere was no space in the very limited parking which was not made clear from the booking information. It was full when we arrived and the only parking was public parking across the road. Insecure parking even if free was a concern when the car was full whilst we were travelling. More annoyingly was a very unsympathetic attitude from the staff member. It was a shame as the hotel room and location are good. Probably best to ring ahead and ask for a parking space to be reserved. However there was space for motorbikes. There is also no blue badge/disabled parking space and steps to the entrance and no lift to the rooms so not good for disabled travellers. I noted that at least 2 of the 9 places were local number plates so probably staff.
Lovely triple room with patio doors and balcony looking into the garden and mountain. Very comfortable beds and bedding.

Perfect value for money. Simple but lovely breakfast. Location is great 15min by walk to the slopes and less than 10min walk to the old town. Please note that the street is very steep and up hill, so even if you can walk it is not suitable for elderly or people with disabilities.

United KingdomWe stayed in one of the hottest days of our holiday (it was 38 during the day) and the rooms would have benefitted from air conditioning. The car park is quite small, but there is a car park directly opposite.
Quirky little hotel within a very short walk to the old town. We stayed in a family room, up a little staircase which was quite cool. The staff were friendly, and it was a nice stay. The rooms were cloean.

RomaniaThe breakfast is very basic so that after the first day we gave up on it. If you can't eat gluten, don't expect to find suitable bread here. The room size is absolutely tiny. I think that the double bed occupies 70% of the room surface. Someone had the wrong idea to add also in room a large armchair, a desk chair and a narrow desk in the remaining space. Just imagine in the room your suitcase and 2 pair of ski /boots. I am 50 years old, but until now I had not discovered that I am claustrophobic. Also, in the 3 days spent there, I did not see any staff at the reception - it seems that the property is managed with a minimum of staff (AIR BNB style). I usually like having a human interface with assistance at the reception of a hotel, that you can ask for information, advice, order a taxi, etc. Not the case here!
Location-is quite close to the old city center and is a quiet area.
