How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewLoved the interiors, size is bigger than expected for Paris. Close to Eiffel & to metro station which makes it easy to commute around Paris. Loads of nice restaurants around the area, bank & pharmacy across the street. Literally home away from home.

Verified reviewnothing - i exited the building due to staff member harassment
TRIGGER WARNING: verbal assault, discrimination. Avoid this property at all costs. Shortly after I check in, a close friend traveled an hour to meet me for a short chat. We were planning 15m catch up and then go out. The staff immediately assumed he was staying overnight, responded with hostility and homophobic remarks, and even threatened me instead of handling the situation politely or offering any solution, like rebooking a different room. My friend left right away to comply, but after I said I’d call the police due to the hostility, the staff escalated and told me he’d make sure I “suffer consequences.” As a visitor in a foreign country, that language made me fear for my safety. I left within two hours and booked a much better hotel nearby, yet was still charged for the full stay. Their follow-up has been just as disappointing - dismissive, unrelenting, and still laced with homophobia. Assuming that two gay men meeting for a short conversation means “spending the night,” and ejecting visitors based on sexual orientation, is unacceptable. IMPORTANT OTHER DETAILS: wifi and tv does not work. Closet space is non existence. AC is either freezing or a lava. there’s a constance stench of sewage smell in bathroom. it’s the worst hotel i’ve ever been to for this price, after visiting 3 continents. even if no incident happened, it would only deserve 2 stars.

The staff, especially the lady in the front, is very rude. I rented a deluxe room there were two of us and we could hardly move in the room. They have no restaurant at night but have the tables there at night. One night, we brought over some dinner, and we assumed we could eat it there due to. we saw other people eating there, but a man from the front desk started yelling at us we could not eat there. It seems they are discriminated against against Americans because the people eating there with no problem before us was speaking in their language with them. If you do not know how to treat guests, then please do not work in the hospitality business. I would never return there and be aware the breakfast is horrible. Not worth it.

Verified reviewThe hotel’s location was perfect for anyone wanting to explore both the famous tourist attractions of France and experience local life. The bed was very comfortable, the shower room was wonderful, and everything else made the stay truly enjoyable.
The only downside, which for me was not a big issue, is that the room is quite small and might feel inconvenient for those who prefer more space.

The bathroom lights didn’t work. & my tissue box was stuffed with tissues that I had to make sure weren’t used. They weren’t but not sure why they were stuffed back in there. I think they could have just presented new tissues without saving ones perhaps from the end of another box or something.

Verified reviewThe staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Amil, at the front desk was super gracious. We asked for restaurant recommendation and he gave us one with Terrific food and very metro accessible. We had good food and very easy commute. The property is very close to everything.
It’s small, only because we’re not light travelers😁. We had a hard time opening our massive luggage’s, but it was manageable.

Verified reviewExcellent location! Across the street from the train and only a 15 minute walk to Eiffel Tower and many restaurants with outdoor seating. Safe area and beautiful! Rooms were very clean, very comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. We had 3 of us with 6 suitcases and it was no problem. There is even a large closet. Staff was wonderful! Highly recommend!!

Verified reviewThe location is very nice close to the metro, many restaurants and bakeries around the hotel. The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel smelled really nice and the aircon was on when we arrived so the room was chilled and nice upon arrival. I would definitely recommend this hotel for other people coming to paris
They take a 100€ insurance deposit when you start your stay i only found out about it through the reviews on booking (its in the fine print on the booking it self) i don’t mind it but maybe keep it in mind while booking
