Very compact rooms. There were only two of us and it was tight as we both had luggage. We were only there for one night so it was okay for us.

No cleaning during the stay. Depending on where you want to go might be a bit far. For me it was perfectly located.

I went there for a short stay and room was what I expected. Great value for money all you need. Booked the double bed for two people a bit tight but also fine for a short while.

The colors of the walls. Sounds annoying but the room is already small and the dark colors feels like I was in a bunker. Also, it was horribly hot. Very very hot and no ventilation. My portable mini fan came in handy. I'm happy I stayed there just 1 night.

I booked as it said it had parking and a restaurant. It wasn't until after booking that they tell you there is an extra charge for parking and the restaurant is closed at weekends. This would have been helpful in their advert information.

Location was very good. Room was cool despite no air conditioning. Staff were very helpful, polite and spoke English. Les Halles is close by with a multitude of eateries, it had a lovely vibe and made our evening.

I forgot to bring my padlock for the lockers.

This was my second stay in an Eklo location and both have been good. This time I stayed in a dorm and the rooms are small but ideal for a base to explore the city as it has excellent transport links from the airport and into the city centre. The reception area is good for sitting and working and all of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is a supermarket directly outside, as well as many places for food and drink. I didn't eat in the hostel as there are limited vegan options but the breakfast looked worth it if you don't have dietary restrictions. There is free baggage storage for before/after checkout.

Space between Upper and lower beds are a bit too low. One has to be careful not to bump one's head when going in or out of bed. Compact dormitory

The rooms were a little weird in that the only window looked out onto the pathway of other guests. A metal black metal blind could bo lowered for privacy but you would see any morning light as it would black out the room. All rooms I saw opened up to open air like a motel. A motel with 8 floors. Unusual but we were both exhausted and they took great care of us.

The staff were excellent. The lobby with bar and kitchen were very comfortable.

Difficult to find the entrance of car park due to road diversion. Location was lovely with all the bars and eateries around. Rooms were small idea if your a student and not as per picture on the website. Also escape exits were a little bit concerning if there was an emergency. Ideal for a one night stay.

The cleaning staff was not polite enough in order pleasing me with very rude talks. As they didn’t respect my request not cleaning my room during my stay, I needed being rude in return to be respected. They unfortunately damaged my new suitcase. They changed the linen and the towels : the new ones were badly fragranced, very used and incomfortables ones, the duvet and the pillow were full off little balls of duvet inside each of them so very uncomfortable for the best and unusual for the worst.

I appreciate the manager flexibility pleasing me. I didn t feel safe in the neighbourhood as the city is not safe for my person as well new hostel customers came gossiping and dealing with defamation about me the second day of my stay. Those behaviours are usual about french citizens in my birthcountry or french speaking people linked with social media harming talks and everything in between.
