Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The rooms are not up to the standard of the public areas. The floor in our room constantly creaked alarmingly and road noise was irritating at night.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Public areas stylish and well planned.

For the price it can't really be a criticism but the shower although great strength water pressure could benefit from a little updating but perfectly adequate
Very pleasant breakfast area with good selection, very good coffee and very nice real wood tables along with comfortable seats. Accommodation areas are still being renewed but from what is visible of the finished parts it should be nicely done out. All staff were very helpful friendly and welcoming.

Easy check-in via the terminal outside, convenient if you arrive late at night. Small comfortable room but the bathroom is a bit tricky (triangle shape). The Internet is good!

After check-in it appears the room was not ready. The personal gave we a free upgrade to a bigger room, but this one was not cleaned fully... Did some cleaning myself, got no reason for this incident but maybe it was due a lack of capacity. Excuses where made and I accepted the free upgrade. Things could be worse, I guess.
Shower / bed was good. The free upgrade saved me, else I would have left. Breakfast was ok. Personal did not know anything about things to-do like the historical things in this area, they are not historians, so it is ok.

Pool is really small and very crowded : you have to be there right at it’s opening to make sure you get a sunbed Lots of very loud groups and noise in the rooms Also the water from the shower gets everywhere in the room

I arrived at 2210,whilst the zreception closes at 2200; I have properly announced, nessage and call.. The Reveptionist just got to insert the csrds into the key automatic machine whilst I was typing in. Guess what: insted of checking us in, she placed the key into the machine, it cost me 5 extra minutes to extract the xard. A la francaise, why should you do it simple??

Although the room had been redecorated, we found that the carpet smelt dirty. Also there was mould over the wall where my son was sleeping. Ads say that the rooms are soundproof. I dont this is the case as everthing could be heard from room above and corridor outside room
The location was great for us as a stopover on our journey. The price to stay there was excellant value.

no soap by the sink to wash hands after using the toilet-had to use the shower gel no towel given to dry hands by the sink -only bath towels for the shower not able to store luggage after check-out

Rooms were small and compact, shower glass was too small and got the floor wet, so when anyone wanted to go back after a shower the floor was wet.
