The campsite is situated right next to a bus stop with connections across the high Pyrenees. It also has a lovely pool (and hot tubs) to facilitate a relaxing evening after an exhausting day's hiking through some of Europe's most breathtaking landscapes (if that's what you're into). And the hosts (Louis and Kristal) are very welcoming. But that's about it

There was - once upon a time - a wonderful campsite here with magnificent potential. Indeed, it still has magnificent potential - but it's all gone to seed. Ramshackle collections of broken or to be mended items lay behind almost every door of the main leisure area and in several places throughout the site. The bar does not operate as a bar. The cafe does not operate as a cafe. The children's play area barely suffices as such. And to make matters worse, there are 3 other campsites within a 100 metres walk, which all look fantastic and full of happy families. It pains me to write this review as I firmly believe - in essence - the two people who run the campsite have big hearts. Unfortunately, they also have big problems. A collection of chalets within a scrap-yard (despite a lovely pool) does not a campsite make. And so, regrettably, mine will not be the last negative review you read. But, believe you me, I could not be more delighted if the owners (with a LOT of extra help) can turn things around and make this campsite a special place. Good luck to them.

The Manager, Louie, (Owner ?) was very kind and welcoming and tried very hard to make up for our complaints (of which there were many) about the Site. He kindly

The site was appallingly ‘unkempt’ (we have photos) and the facilities nothing like as described although the Cabins were reasonably clean and comfortable. On the morning of our departure, Louie (Owner ?) advised me that it was not possible to pay by Card and that we could only pay by Cash or French Bank Cheque. He charged €265.00. We paid him in cash, 5 No. Fifty Euro notes and 1 No €20. We invited him to keep the €5 Euro change then left. It’s a pity, the location (geographically) is stunning, just not the site. If I were inclined to be unkind, it resembled a Scrap yard in places. Malcolm Robertson

Good location near to a lovely quaint town. Good for a night or 2 stay. Pool was lovely. Staff were very helpful.

Some areas needed upgrading. No food or bar facilities from what we experienced.
