We had a torrid time with flies and mozzies, which obviously can’t be controlled by the owner, but a couple of fly strips or zappers wouldn’t go amiss.

Really nicely appointed wee room. Great shower and comfy beds. Extremely quiet rural location with a lovely host.

Beautiful quiet rural location on a working farm. Friendly welcoming hosts. Simple but excellent accommodation and a very good breakfast. Kitchen available for use was very useful.

Maybe a bit of improvement to the sound insulation between some of the rooms - we were woken c2am by the next door room coming home from a party, and we were surprised by how much we could hear the them … up until then we had enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location, and hadn’t heard anything from other rooms. We got back to sleep as the other guests didn’t make the noise for long, but we would have preferred to not have been woken.

Love the welcome from the host and her style of hosting, love the decor, linens, nice sized rooms, and like having facilities to do your own food and relax in the communal room; location is great, lots of birdsong and countryside, plenty of safe parking; the breakfast is good, served by the host; only a few minutes drive from the beautiful Lyons-la-forêt.

Get rid of some of the furniture and make more room to move around TV system was difficult to figure out...............we ended up not using the TV at all. Had to ask people in town for directions.................needs improved signage.

WE loved the character of the farm and the peaceful surroundings. Actually, I sent a review ages ago and, having stayed at so many places during our touring holiday, I find it difficult to remember all the finer details. I do remember that breakfast was great in the downstairs dining room.

It was near impossible to find and somewhat isolated. We toured the area and in exasperation stopped to ask some people near the church where the place was. One of them turned out to be the proprietor! other wise we would still have been looking. Nowhere close to eat in the evening.

We had a microwave but no kettle but found there was a fully equipped kitchen and sitting area. Maybe a few toiletries for the bathroom. The towels were not what we are used to as very thin but everything was so clean and fresh it made up for it.

The location was lovely, peaceful and quiet but 10 minute drive from lovely villages. The farm sold fresh produce but we got there late and left early so didn’t get chance to buy any. The rooms were so lovely and the bed really comfy. Screens on the windows enabled us to have it open all night and we didn’t hear a thing. Very welcoming host and gave us details of nearby restaurants. Unfortunately we could not stay for breakfast as had a ferry to catch, however we have already decided we will be returning again as we enjoyed it so much.

A little more provided in the room, tea/coffee facilities and perhaps more toiletries. That said, we found out later that there was a kitchen area where we could have made a drink. A small fridge would be helpful.

Superb location in lovely countryside, accommodation is interesting with lots of features you wouldn't find in a more urban setting. Intermarche is a short drive.

Peaceful and rural location and very relaxing. Friendly welcome and allowed us a slightly early entry to the property. Air con in room was really good although weather wasn't great when we visited. Really good value for money and would recommend for a night away in peaceful surroundings.

A bit difficult to find, a sign with the farm name would've been useful. Also had to keep window and door closed to keep flies out.

No shower gel or soap in bathroom (.l think there normally is, but it wasn't put out). Coffee and tea in room but no kettle...went down stairs to the kitchen area to get a hot.drink .The building looked a little tired from the outside, but very nice inside
