Beautiful and quirky guesthouse, incredibly friendly and helpful host who went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, including booking us dinner reservations and offering to organise a transfer for our walk. Tasty breakfast and we enjoyed talking to the other guests in the morning.

A warm welcome from Emilie who had also reserved dinner for us at a local restaurant, and a very good breakfast the next day including home made jams.

cool place very shabby chic. Emilie is really lovely and looks after you. Breakfast was delicious.

Shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom would be a nice treat. Bit noisy from upstairs.

Our stay at Fils dans ta chambre was a wonderful experience. Emilie is an exceptional host. She made all our reservations for our onward walk on the GR70. It was a huge relief as our French vocabulary is very limited. The rooms are very clean and beds super comfortable. Shower has good water pressure. We had dinner and breakfast - 3 course dinner - fresh and homemade - delicious. Breakfast was excellent. An excellent host with excellent facilities. Highly recommended

I felt so lucky to get a room here. Meticulously run by a lovely young woman with excellent English. Superb food and a lovely atmosphere.

I walked in to Monastier on the GR 70 . The location is a former High St. shop. The owner & host is very good & very kind - making a reservation for me for Dinner for example. Breakfast was excellent

The quality of the breakfast was exceptional. The bread was fresh and the home made conserves were a treat. A lot of thought went into making the interior of the accommodation were homely and charming. It was warm and the shower was hot and powerful. Our host Emilie was very helpful and made a reservation for our dinner that evening. She was also very charming and happy to converse with us in our poor French.

The stairs were very steep and narrow but nothing we couldn’t manage.

Absolute wonderful stay in Le Monastier! The rooms are stylish and cozy and Emilie is a wonderful host. We can definitely recommend.

It was a great location, many walkers on the Stevenson trail use this accommodation, the rooms were comfortable especially after a long hiking day - host was so accommodating and lovely

Very small spaces

charming small guest house in old house in centre of town. Small room but perfectly adequate after a long walk. Great DIY breakfast. Like staying in someones house rather than an hotel.
