Nothing, everything was excellent. Don't forget that in the French countryside, you will need a car to go for groceries.

In this converted farm building, a lot of space is available for the guest(s), max 6, both inside and outside. Very good kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favorite food. There are chairs and seats outside for dining or relaxing. Bonus: friendly farm animals (goats, donkey) as nearest neighbors. Our dog felt right at home !

Certain things like washing up and dishwasher soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies must be brought with you. Because the house is on a septic tank system, they need to be septic-safe. Keep that in mind when packing for your trip. If the septic system is at-risk, I recommend that the host provide assured septic-safe cleaning supplies, since using the wrong kind can be costly. Easy enough to pick up from the Super-U about 15 minutes away.

The hosts were very kind. I struggle with French, but with Google Translate we got along fine. Despite a mix-up on the arrival time, we got into the property with little hassle. The property is large, and the hosts are kind enough to let you visit their small menagerie of goats, sheep, and a donkey (our favorite, Ipsilon). Good sleeping options, and a warm fire for the cool nights made it very cozy. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, and there is a washing machine if needed. It was close enough to all our destinations (Mon St. Michele, beaches, etc) that it made a good base station. Very pleased we found this place.

It's hard to find something we didn't like. Maybe the only thing is the bed in the main bedroom - the mattress has lived a bit. But it's not a big deal.

Lovely cottage house kept by a charming family in the heart of a typical Normandy area. The house is equipped with all you need, from a steam iron to vacuum cleaner and baby chair. It's very spacious (there are 2 bedrooms of which the second one can host 4 people in 3 beds). Emma the host is lightning fast to respond in case there's a need for something. The garden is huge and there are cute animals right next to it. The hosts also gave us ideas of what to visit in the area. The bottle of cider was a nice gift!
