    Location!!

Four bed room was in the attic and HOT. Would’ve much preferred to take four beds in the larger mixed dorm downstairs. Would’ve been helpful to know the four bed room was in the location prior to booking.

Lovely breakfast prepared with care by Robert, who was so nice and welcoming. The location in the village of St Guilhem is incredible. The hostel facilities were clean and easy to use.

    It was a lovely hostel.

Robert was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and they had individual lamps.

    There wasn't anything I didn't like.

In an ancient and historic village, beautiful location

Didn’t realize it was a bunk-house set up for one of the rooms and the other was very dark, cramped for our 3 person party. The inn is entirely geared for people who are back packers and hikers which is fine but was not clear from the description. Understandable in this tiny village but not what we were expecting

The room was fine, very central too.

The price was quite high for such a room.

Great location in a stunning village. There’s so much to see and do there. Definitely rent a canoe on the river! Apartment itself was quite comfortable, with king sized bed, but it could have been cleaner. Good value.

Floor was dusty, no waste bin for trash in bedroom. Bathroom was a bit shabby, with an unpleasant smell, shower bar loose, shower head falls down, very mildewed in shower basin. However, communication was good and some issues were resolved quickly.

The location is fantastic. Our private double room Was large and clean and the fan was efficient. Communication was via text only but very prompt and helpful. We put wine and beer in the shared fridge and the other residents were respectful and nothing was taken. Swimming in the canyon was fabulous! Kettle and English tea in the room was a result!

The triple room for our teenage sons was in the roof and extremely warm, very small velum window only and an inefficient old fan that made little impact. They slept very poorly, That said it was very hot! No local shop for food so it’s worth getting a few bits before you arrive. Local breakfast options were limited.

The place is a bit dated but cute and well-equipped.

I got zero proactive instructions about how to find it in the dark. Parking nearby is very expensive (5€ for 2 hrs) and there was no warning, or helpful info. The property isn’t accessible by car, and the streets are not lit at night. With a little proactive communication I could have had a great experience nonetheless. There were no sheets as covers, just blankets without sheets.

    The bathroom was big

Room was very sparse, nothing to hang your clothes on. the place wasn’t easy to find despite signs. Sat nav in the car we hired didn’t recognise the address. I’m pretty sure the proprietor was asleep when we arrived early in the afternoon.
