A peaceful, delightful location. Stunning views of the medieval village and countryside. Restaurants, art galleries and crafts within a few minutes walk. Electric car charging just a minute's drive away. Cyril helpfully checked we had settled in (his directions to the free parking space were perfect) and set us up for a fantastic week.

Location was sensational and the host was incredibly kind and helpful! A perfect 1-2 bedroom apartment with an incredible view of the village. Very easy to find and access and had everything I needed for a week long stay.

The gite is conveniently situated at the bottom part of the town of Saint Cirq Lapopie. It has a beautiful view from the stoep and everything you need. to make your stay comfortable.

The location for exploring the village and the whole Lot Valley is superb. The host was very responsive.

Fabulous location although we found mid April to be more pre season than shoulder. Many restaurants were not open even though we were there Thursday and Friday. Great shower. Nice seating indoor and out. Easy access using the lock box. Quiet. Beautiful town and we were able to get to Pech Merle by taxi and walk back.

The host was present when we arrived as he is working on another project just below the unit we stayed in. We were a bit disappointed when the parking spot we expected was being used by someone staying in another unit. There was a much less convenient alternate parking area we could use and it was ok for us but if you really need it, I recommend that you confirm with the host that the parking space is yours as advertised since there is only one space for a few units. Otherwise, the apartment is small but charming and clean with a little terrace that is a perfect place to sit with a cold glass of rosé. The town is just exceptional to walk around ( uphill/downhill) and there are many wonderful restaurants to enjoy.

And having a parking place outside the gite! After arriving we sat up on the bank in the late afternoon sun drinking a glass of wine - perfect! The gite is small but that is what you expect when staying in an old house in a medieval village. We loved the fact that Cyril’s family have lived in the village for five generations and were the village ‘tourneurs’. And in one of the local shops we found we were talking to his cousin! A wonderful stay in a 500 year old house!

Reino Unido79 comentários2 votos de comentário útil"A pleasant stay in a lovely village"Although we explicitly stated we wanted a parking space, after we arrived & unloaded our luggage we were directed to a car park well away from the property and we had to climb some very steep steps back up to the gite. The parking space was allocated to the other gite! The property could also benefit from a second easy chair in the living area. There are steep steps up to the property from the road which people with mobility problems may find difficult.
we were met by the very friendly owner (Cyril). The gite although small was adequate for 2 people and ideally located to visit the lovely village of St. Cirq Lapopie.

The property was in a good location at the bottom of the village,and had a great small shop selling cheese,meats,wine below the gite
