We had a family room and the child's bed was barely long enough for our 11 year old.

Friendly hosts, swimming pool, table tennis table, nice dogs and chickens. The breakfast was good and it was a pretty location. The nearby town of Richelieu was very interesting.

They offered amazing local knowledge, lovely conversation, and a sense of home that is so rare to find when travelling. I was lucky enough to share a dinner with them, and it was unforgettable. The food was delicious, the wine was flowing, and the evening was filled with warmth and laughter. It felt like being with old friends around the table. They made sure I had everything I needed and more. If you are travelling by motorcycle like I was, **this is an ideal stop**. There is **secure gated parking** and a peaceful setting that offers real rest and comfort after a long ride. This was so much more than a place to stay. Lovely property and room, with fantastic hosts. I had a meal with the hosts one night which avoided a trip out to a restaurant. It was great to chat with the hosts. The dogs are very friendly too!

There was nothing to dislike about our stay. From the moment we arrived, Tania and Roberto made us feel so welcome. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. As for the property and gardens who wouldn't want to stay here. We only stayed for one evening but would definitely stay longer another time. A large garden for children to play around in, and the swimming pool a bonus.

Beautiful house and garden in a very tranquil location. The owners are very warm people. Their main objective is to make sure your short stay with them is as excellent as possible

The taxi from Poitiers and Chantellerault stations was quite expensive so probably better to have rented a car. It’s in the country side so no street lights so need to be comfortable with that when driving ; )

Picturesque little establishment that’s looks like a postcard with rabbits and chickens outside and a pool and outdoor area where breakfast was served with the kind couple that ate with us and shared a couple of laughs. It was like being with people I already knew. We only stayed 1 night for a birthday party in the area but this location made it very memorable. They spoke perfect English and French.

Please make sure you have informed your host of the presence of dogs. This was the main reason why we have left after one day even if planed to stay 2 days. Also that could be fair to mention that dinner is only available one day and the other day so not every day as we also have expected.
