This beautiful hotel is a jewel. It is stunning in design, layout and extra attention to detail. It is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms and suites are gorgeous.

I learned that in future to book myself or through Amex. I paid the same rate as my friends who booked via agent or through Amex, they had much better amenities (chocolates, strawberries, wine in their room, hats for French open in their rooms), and breakfast included with their rooms. I had NOTHING and paid the same price. Breakfast for coffee, croissants and fruit was $60 each am for me to boot. Simply not right, shameful. It is not about the money, it is about principal.

The prices are astronomic. Charging 100 euros a night for extra bed when already charging per person is crazy. Also - 20 euros for a bottle of water from the minibar is just.. wow.

I liked it so much that I excuse the fact that they charged ny card twice and there are still some money blocked in my card as provisions that will drop back to my account in 40 days from the date of charging...

Luxury meets comfort. Amazing customer service. Polite staff with big smiles on their faces. Always ready to help. They gave me a room that I found a bit cramped. They then offered me a beautiful room, airy and spacious. Overlooking Avenue Montaigne, with side view of Eiffel Tower. They definitely exceeded my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely come back here this time withy family. It is an experience worth having and paying for. What I loved: Design, vibe, comfortable bed, beautiful view of Eiffel Tower, breakfast, service, house keeper numerous times a day, 24 hr concierge, smell, luxury, being close to Eiffel Tower. Being on Avenue Montaigne. Loved it. Thank you.

It seemed that limousine service is now outsourced and a bit less up to standard. The lady chauffeur who picked us up at the airport was wearing very high heels (like 3-4 inches), which made us a bit uneasy, considering it can be dangerous driving in heels this high, especially with passengers in the car. Also, the chauffeur was coughing quite a bit without a mask, but told us we could either go for keeping the windows open or having air-con on, but not both... For hygienic purpose, we chose to keep the windows open, and it was 29 °C outside. That was not very pleasant.

We have stayed at Plaza Athenee quite a few times before. It has always been amazing. We are grateful that the hotel upgraded our room this time. We did notice the change of restaurant. We didn't manage to have any main meals at the hotel this time, but the afternoon tea was still as good and innovative as it had been.
