There was some noise from the wooden stairs next to our room - there is no way to use them without making some noise. Ask for a room far from the stairs.

The hotel is well located just off a major street which eliminated noise from partyers. It is a short and safe walk to the train station as well.

The room was clean and of a reasonable size. The bed was very comfortable .tea and coffee were included with a kettle. The location was excellent 10 mins from railway station 4 minutes from airport shuttle.

It was all fantastic, I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The overall feel of the hotel from when we first arrived, we knew we were going to like the hotel. What a great location! The Managers were very friendly and very helpful, went above and beyond!

France's latest rules on air conditioning use needs to be more accommodating to foreign visitors who are used to lower temperatures at night to get a decent night's sleep rather than be expected to try and sleep adequately at 24 degrees. Same issue when we had earlier stayed in a hotel in Bayonne. Beyond the hotel's individual control, but needs pointing out to make representations to those in government directing such blanket policies.

We were on third floor. As there is no elevator in the hotel, it may be difficult to carry the luggage if it is heavy.

Excellent location and great service. All places of interest are within walking distance. the owner Monsieur Frederic was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was functional. Main train station Matabiau is within 10 minutes walking distance. Air condition was working properly.

Perhaps it's clear from the official description, but travellers with mobility issues should be aware that there is no lift.

A very well located hotel, within walking distance of Toulouse's old city centre. It's also in a quiet street. Frederic the manager lives in the premises with his family and is very kind. He organised parking for our rental car within 100 metres from the hotel and gave us great tips for visiting the city.

The host was hospitable and the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a breakfast that was good value. The location is fantastic, near the centre of town and a short walk to the train station, which is very useful if you are only in Toulouse for a short stopover.

Our shower needed adjustment as it would not stay upright. I would have appreciated china/pottery mugs rather than disposable mugs for use with the tea and coffee making facilities.

It was in a very good location - massive of transport links close by and within easy walking distance of the centre. Our host was very friendly and helpful. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in at any grade and better than some 5 star hotels.

Be aware that there is no lift (elevator), due to the age of the building-but the stairs are short and quick to walk up, and the owner will help you.

The hotel is in a fabulous, walkable location for visiting central Toulouse. Lots of restaurants, the Toulouse Capitole, museums and main historic and shopping areas are right at hand. Centrally located, and yet very quiet. It's just off a main Toulouse street which has the Metro, lots of buses, and the fast Airport bus. Coming back to our air-conditioned room in summer is a big plus. I have stayed here in the past and will always return as the service, price and welcome cannot be beat!

The location was central and the manager was helpful and friendly. He patiently engaged me in my French practice.

Dated decor, a bit too ‘lived in’ IMO. Constant smells from nearby restaurant.
