How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Breakfast could use some improvement, as it felt a bit underwhelming.
Very conveniently located near the A9 road, making it a convenient location for a stopover. Clean, air-conditioned rooms.

The air conditioning was not working, so it was really hot in the room. There could be more variety for breakfast (like vegetables) it was super basic.
The self check- in, the room was clean, the staff was very nice.

- Nothing nearby in terms of restaurants or places to eat, for that you would need to drive a few minutes.
- Just next to the highway to Spain. - The bed was good and the room was clean. - Parking seemed big enough. - Large TV and the shower was good and powerful.

Breakfast was not included, when one of the rooms claimed to have it and that the price, if I am not mistaken, was 8€, and the price seemed high to me, 8.50€.
The service was impeccable, both on arrival, during and at breakfast.

Hotel location is a bit lost. If you have a car perfect otherwise plan to take a cab to go anywhere around which adds on what you saved for the hotel room... no hair dryer and no soap in the room so plan to bring yours.
Super descent hotel for 2 nights. Clean room.

Room was a bit hot and the fan didn't seem to work. Couldn't increases volume on TV. The area around hotel a bit run down.
Beds really comfortable. Breakfast alright and sufficient. Very clean. Very handy for travelling. Easy parking. Staff very helpful.

Very isolated from restaurants and there was nowhere to get dinner.

The air conditioning feels like a left over from a previous owner. Seemed like a quick refurbishment job from a previous franchise.

The breakfast wasn't filling or satisfying and not worth the money but due to the location of the hotel you're a bit stuck if you don't pay for the breakfast but it was disappointing and the croissants and breakfast meet (very oily) were not good quality. It could have done with better variety of savoury options, maybe mushrooms, and cooked tomatoes for the cost of the breakfast i think it was £20 extra per day. For that cost/extra charge I would've liked to have had proper good quality coffee from a proper coffee machine so barista trained staff would be more appropriate for the cost of the charge for the breakfast. It's quite out of the way but it's possible to order deliveroo/uber eats in order to feed yourself as the hotel doesn't offer lunch or dinner options. The wifi was unstable and kept crashing so my client appointments kept dropping out.

Shabby. The room I was in did not resemble the picture. It was derelict. Decrepit bordering sordid. Shower very ramshackle. Reception was closed at 21:30 automatic registration not working. Not worth the price at all...
