Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The lack of a fan in the room and at breakfast there was only oat milk available for cereal / tea. They had run out of cow’s milk. Hot milk was available in the coffee machine.
It is a very good basic hotel. The room was very clean but hot with no fan or air conditioning. The meal in the restaurant was pleasant. The staff are friendly and helpful.

There were 10 in our party. We booked a table for dinner in advance but were disappointed to establish when we went to order the food the 3 courses were not all available with very limited alternatives. Food then came out for two people at a time. Some of the party having all their courses before others had had any! No outside space to enjoy the weather. Breakfast was self serve and good choices.
Ideal location to stop whilst travelling down to the south coast

As above, the carpet didn't appear to be overly clean.
It was comfortable, mostly clean (there was a rather nasty stain on the carpet near the bathroom!) and the breakfast was good. The onsite parking was good as the gate gets locked at night and the concierge was extremely helpful in telling us about restaurants to eat in.

Bathrooms need updating.
Convenient for stop off to and from Shuttle tunnel. Near town centre and parks to walk dog. Staff friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Room very clean and comfortable. Restaurant on site with adequate food.

The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Cambrai and has a large car park. The staff are friendly and polite, and speak good English. The rooms are comfortable, cleans, large and well appointed. The restaurant serves good value food.

Lack of evening staff, one poor girl on her own, trying to book people in, serve at the bar and take peoples orders.
Breakfast was good, but items needed to be refilled constantly.but a good variety. Evening meal was good , but more choice on the menu would be nice .

I was pleased to be able to stay demi-pension, but that said, it's not really a restaurant but rather somewhere you can get a simple evening meal with little choice or culiinary ambition. No comfortable chair in the room. I would have thought it only marginally qualifying to be *** .
The hotel is easy to find and well-placed close to main roads and autoroutes - and it's quite quiet as well. There was ample parking on the occasion of my visit. The rooms have been fairly recently done up, with a little bit of style, and the bed was OK. Wi-Fi was excellent, although not secured. Breakfast selection was wider than in many of this type of hotel. The evening receptionist cum waiter was pleasant to deal with and talk to.

The shower floor was extremely slippery and we had to lay towels down as we were really frightened we would slip and fall. We really think you need to replace these showers before the hotel faces an insurance claim. It was obvious that a previous guest had been smoking in our room (130) - not good for us - one of us has asthma and the other has a lung disease that causes breathing problems. We thought smoking was not allowed inside French hotels, especially the bedrooms.
The staff were very welcoming. The waiter on Sunday evening was happy to allow 2 not very hungry people to share a meal. An unexpected kindness!
