The reception was a bit smelly and the lift was being serviced when we arrived and we had to take our bags up 5 flights of stairs. They did offer to help though. Other than that all good.

Great location right in the centre of Lille. It was a perfect base for the grand depart of the Tour de France. Room was good, bed comfortable and the aircon did the trick.

the bathroom was not really clean and there was missing a toilet brush so unfortunately we left there a little surprise. 😅

For one night sleep to continue on our road it was perfect, in center of beautiful city.

First, when we arrived, the receptionist was nowhere near friendly. Everyday when we passed the front desk and she was there, not even once she replied our bonjour or bonsoir. Second, we found that the front desk area has this unpleasant smells. Very different with the smells in other floors. Maybe opening the doors or windows might help with the smells. Third, there's only one trash bin in the room, located in the bathroom. We noticed that they cleaned our room (the towel were replaced), but they never emptied our bin during our stay. Fourth, is the hotel expect us to take the water from the sink in the bathroom? Other accor hotels have at least a dispenser at the lobby/front desk area. This hotel only provides small dispenser that maybe only can fill 2 water bottles. Maybe the hotel expect us to buy from outside? If yes, it will be our first experience after our countless stay in the accor group hotels.

Location. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location.

The beds were a little uncomfortable and the room a little bit cramped.

The lady in reception was absolutely fantastic, so nice and friendly. It made all the difference to our trip. She even gave us free breakfast because the fire alarm had gone off. The location of the hotel was perfect, and the room was modern

Lille closes city centre to cars at the weekend so spent 1 hr driving around trying to get to the hotel! However good parking within easy (5min) walk at opera house car park.

Right in the middle of Lille so great vibe and amazing shops, restaurants to explore on the doorstep. Room clean and seemingly recently renovated including bathroom. Opted for breakfast included and it was surprisingly excellent for a chain hotel range and choice even take away bags to fill if in a rush. Fabulous array of loose leaf teas on offer.

Our floor was being renovated so the corridors were like a building site and needed to step round wet plaster. The lift was not very reliable.

The room we had was on the top floor, and into the eaves of the building. Therefore the room was really cramped, it was difficult to walk around the bed and I couldn't stand up straight in quite a bit of the room. Because there was hardly any space in the room anyway, this made it feel extra cramped.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was clean and public areas were clean. Despite being in the centre on a busy street, it was quiet in the room.

The beds were noisy, and there was a lot of ambient noise in the hotel. You could hear doors closing and people talking in the hallway. Overall, the hotel is a bit old and it could use some freshness here an there.

The staff were very friendly and polite, we asked to have a thermos filled with warm water and they were happy to help. The location is close to all the activities and museums in town, you can walk everywhere which is nice. The room had a little balcony with view of the street, which we were able to appreciate.

Building common areas and rooms could do with a renovation.

Spot on for central stay in Lille. Comfy bed, great shower and perfect location. Central but quiet at night. Good air con as well for summer!
