How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No kettle in the room - we need to heat up water for the baby at night and changing and waiting for the lift at night is not convenient

Shower had no pressure and it took long to rinse away shower gel.
Perfect next to motor way hotel. Very nice breakfast. Fine beds and clean rooms.

None of the people from reception, bar, restaurant seemed very nice. They didn’t do anything wrong, but we didn’t have this welcoming feeling.
The location right by the highway to make a stop in a long trip. The swimming pool. The rooms are very small but they are clean.

The room was small but adequate. The pool and pool area were terrific - especially on a very hot day. The bed was comfy and the front desk staff was very nice.

Swimming pool not clean
Very friendly staff. Small room but clean. Swimming pool not really available because full of glycines. Otherwise very convenient when traveling.

Everything was good.
The location for us was perfect as we were half way through our journey, it was not far away from the motorway. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and everyone was very friendly.

Size of room, location of the hotel.
On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent! My room was clean but very, if not too, small for comfort. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a TV channel in English - a personal problem I am sure :-)

Not related to ibis, but the búfalo grill in front was desgraceful, cold fries and veggies, burn meat very bad service

The rooms are a bit small, but they're good enough to sleep and shower in.
The entire staff was consistently exceptionally welcoming. The breakfast offers good value for the price, meeting the expectations for a three-star hotel. The beds are very comfortable.

A large group of very young children - football team we think - and some of them were staying on the same hotel floor. Nobody really preventing them from noisly running around that evening.
Hotel as described with very friendly and helpful staff. A 45 min walk to amphitheatre and the old town so on hindsight should have driven there. Breakfast more expensive than most of ibis hotels but was very good and did include a cooked element - bacon eggs beans - as well as the usual excellent continental. All in all very good value.

Although beds were comfy 1 double bed is better than 2 single beds . Rooms are smallish Need more selection of drinks in the bar . Dinners and deserts were horrible and way over priced Breakfast was nice but overpriced also Pool needs to be cleaned more frequently. Problem with room 111 key card .
The breakfast options were good but to pricey . Staff was very nice and had a great level of English. Beds were nice and comfortable, pity they were 2 single beds pushed together though. Bathroom facility was good .

Room was very warm, duvet was very thick. Air con didn't cool the room so having the windows open meant we could hear the road noise which kept us awake and uncomfortable 😔 this happens in a lot of hotels unfortunately... I suppose due to the expense of air con they limit the temp a client can lower it to.
Very friendly, welcoming staff, very relaxed. Nice bar area, modern decor and comfortable rooms, extra pillows given etc. Secure free parking, options for food, pool area looked great. Close to the motorway junction.
