Reviews of Huttopia Vallouise

Very friendly managers, extremely helpful. Trying really hard to make everything to our expectations. Also, they speak very good english, so communication was not a problem. Always enough wood for the fireplace, although the electric heating is enough to keep the hut warm. A lot of cutlery and pans, so cooking for a group was not a problem.

No negatives really, everything worked well

location was beautiful. very convenient for climbing in Ailefroide, and our chalet was adjacent to a field of wildflowers with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. the chalet itself was fully equipped for cooking. though we didn't cook, we enjoyed eating at the picnic table on the deck outside, and use of the deck chairs. the cute outdoor twinkle lights were also very charming. the camp store at the office had all the essentials, and they can make your morning coffee at the outside cafe. the entire place was immaculate. staff was friendly and helpful. local kombucha sold there was great!

the couch was shallow and not very comfortable, so there wasn't a really comfortable place to hang out, except the deck chairs outside. there were no hand towels, so we had to use our single bath towel (per person) for everything. the pay-per-cup honor system coffee maker in the rec room was a nice idea, but didn't work for me, even though i tried to follow the instructions carefully. the electric car charging station outside the gate (maybe not affiliated with Huttopia) did not provide a cable, and our rental car did not have one, so we could not charge our car.
