We did not eat in the restaurant, which is am sure is very good , but the property is a bit tied in my opinion and not how i think a 5 star is , but its only my opinion , the staff were fine , the young receptionist was lovely but spoke no English which made asking about the town and where to eat all very difficult , we didnt get the usual map and where to go

The toilet in the room was hung so high on the wall that my feet couldn’t reach the floor properly. Had to put feet on something in order to sit on it properly. The room was very dark, felt it needed an update to brighten it up. Other than those points the bed was very comfortable the sheets were lovely the room was spacious and very clean. Would still definitely stay there again, as it was an overall very positive stay and exceptional restaurant.

The Restaurant food and service was absolutely SUPERB wonderful gifted Chef exceptional meal, with such quality ingredients beautifully presented plate after plate .would definitely go again if travelling in the area. Lovely staff comfortable bed spacious room.

We thought it was very overpriced, breakfast wasn't included, it didn't feel very welcoming.

The rooms were a lovely size & very clean, nice extra touches, like chocolates & a lovely receipe by the chef to try making at home. Parking at the back of hotel, which was great for 2 motorbikes. We used the local bus to get to the centre of town, very easy to use & bus stop was close to the hotel.

The toilet is too high. The gym looks old. I haven't used anything there, but you have to go through it to get to the Spa. The spa could get a renovation. Breakfast is too expensive for what you get. We knew that before, but wanted to try anyways at least once. Regarding lighting, it's either all lights go on or none. Cannot just have the "bedside" lights on.

The room looks really nice. The room is really dark when the curtain is closed. Its big enough. TV is of good size. They make the bed for you every day. There was an elevator to bring you to the desired floor. Can make coffee and tea every day. You get 2 bottles of water on the house. Enough plugs to charge your phone. The personnel was very nice. The massage was relaxing.

Loved the staff, the Michelin Star restaurant in the hotel and the incredible meal, and the spaciousness of the room. The beautiful courtyards and overall windows and lighting create an inviting ambiance.

The entrance of the hotel was a bit difficult to find on the road, we missed it on our first attempt and had to run a big circle to dirve there again. Perhaps a bigger/clearer signpost can help. The parking slot was safe and easy though.

The room was clean and spacious, staff were welcoming and helpful. We had dinner at the michellin-starred restaurant and that was very nice!!! Waiters were attentive and friendly, food was of good quality and the atmosphere was nice.

No bar, but there is a reception area where drinks can be served. Only one beer available from a bottle. When we arrived at 6pm there was obviously a shortage of staff and what we really wanted was a long cold beer. Breakfast is expensive for what is provided. Not a 5* hotel as you would know it in the UK

Not the best decor for a high-end hotel but that’s just personal preference :-)

Clean big suite, dog & toddler friendly, nice stop-off point from the ferry. Accommodating night porter who didn’t mind us ordering drinks after the bar shut :-) Michelin started restaurant which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to dine in, but will next time! Easy parking.

Great for access to the town and also as a base to visit historical sites. Really good choice for breakfast so worth the extra for us. Lovely staff too.
