I was not expecting the towels/linens to be paid extra - even though, admittedly, it is stated somewhere in the apartment description - this is not highlighted well enough. By default, I would expect having the linens included. Otherwise, it is like selling a car without wheels...

In spite of good instructions and our car navigation it was difficult to find the building and collect the keys.

Very helpful and friendly communication. There was a separate toilet and bathroom which was nice. A small balcony was also a nice feature. Good and secure parking. Good heating! The apartment was very conveniently located for getting to the town with many restaurants nearby.

The fact that you need to pay extra for the towels and sheets. It does mention it's extra but doesn't specify how much. It is 20 euros per bed!!!! This price should be communicated in advance. She did made a reduction of 10 euros. There were also just like 3-4 coffee pods and we were 4 people and stayed 2 nights.

The place was nice and good located.

the size is too small for 4 adult persons. they charged you €20/bed for linen and towel but they didn't make the sofa bed. Parking spot is underground, entrance and exit is quite narrow for SUV.

I would have preferred to have the details of door keys before I traveled. We didn't know you had to get a bus to the ski slope as a cable car had been mentioned being near to the apartment but this was more for sight seeing (Aiguille Midi) Would have preferred the beds to be made on arrival. There was only one decent sized mug which was sticky and one juice/beer glass. Bedroom light didn't work

The location was excellent as just beside the bus station and near to shops. The view from the window was of the mountains and river. Bed was comfortable and apt was warm

The description on booking does not highlight that bed linen are not included in the price. This was not a problem, but it would have been great if this was clear from the beginning. Also, booking does not show the exact cost for the bed linen, as far as I could see.

The design of the apartment makes it look very spacious thanks to the living room and the bed room being connected through a large door. The location is great, just a few minutes from the Aiguille du Midi cable car. The mountain view is very nice, too. We were allowed for late checkout with no problem.

Had to pay extra for linen for each bed. We assumed these are basic facilities and will be provided. No soap or other toiletries. Also it was a bit difficult to get the keys as there are multiple enterances and the parking was also super complex to navigate through. Initially our parking badge wasnt working so we couldnt get inside the parking floor for an hour until someone helped us.

Very good location and accessibility. It was genuinely quite a cosy apartment with amazing river and mountain views. Free parking provided in the building parking space.

The challenge was understanding how to use the oven. An simple instruction manual would have been helpful. Knives were extremely dull and a hazard to try to use. Although we were told about the surcharge for towels and bedding, we feel strongly they should be included in rental cost and not an additional charge. This felt a bit like a cash grab.

Self catered so no breakfast. Location was excellent.

clean the bedsit when you arrive, it's safer for your health

I received the mail with instructions to access the bedsit few hours before the arrival, and not one day before as normally, which meant I was driving the car and couldn't concentrate properly to read it. I had to call Caroline to explain to me how to get the key from a box, and she seemed a bit irritated by my inability to open it. (the address to get the key is totally different from the one given on booking.com). There is no bar of soap, no bottle of water (as courtesy from the owner, it costs 20 cents and would have been so appreciated after 8-hour drive), no bucket for the mop and no rubber gloves to protect your hands when wash it and squeeze it (when you leave you have to clean the flat, otherwise you are charged 30 euros, for something already very very pricey, but I strongly advise anybody who reads my lines, to clean it also upon arrival), no floor detergent, no dishcloth, no bed sheets (if you don't bring towels and bed sheets from home, you have to pay for them, 15 euros/pers), no toiletries, you have to bring your own, also some toilet paper, to avoid the surprise of not finding a spare one, no salt, no oil, no sugar (I personally consider all these a must offered by any host anywhere). The vacuum cleaner is very old and needs regular cleaning (we cleaned it and I think it had more than one kilo of dust in it, I have a photo to prove it), so it was a struggle to clean the floor. Such a pity there is no broom to sweep the floor instead, it would have been much more hygienic ! There is no disinfectant, bring from home. In short, if you are not fussy about cleanliness, you don't care how welcomed the host made you feel, (it's France after all, a country not famous for such things), then, this bedsit is a perfect stay for you.

The bed-sit was booked and paid days before the arrival and communication with Caroline, the owner, was good. The location is great, right in the center of Chamonix, with all the shops nearby, I recommend Super U as supermarket, not the Spar close to the bedsit. I had to cook because I am a vegetarian, so the kitchenette was an advantage for me. You can walk to the bus for Plan Praz, Brevent, you can walk to the train for Montevers, and the cable car for Plan de Aguille is right behind the accommodation. We were offered by the hostess some free transport cards. (for the bus). A cable car pass for two days, non-consecutive, which is advisable considering how unpredictable the weather is in Chamonix) costs 116 euros per person. I spend five nights, paid for two days of cable car pass (three days it was raining non stop), so I hiked Grand Balcon Sud and Grand Balcon Nord, and it cost around 750 euros for two people. From my point of view, trekking in Mont Blanc Massive is daylight robbery after Covid period, not worth the money.

Linen and towels are extra cost. This gets confusing as some European places have 2 beds put together and some have only 1 bed. We are 2 people, so had to play safe and asked and paid for 2 sets (which was unnecessary as it was only 1 bed). Also to take out the trash and to strip the bed and bundle them together. There was also a cleaning component which we had to do, or this would incur extra cost. This was not something I expected from a listing here in booking.com (perhaps ok in AirBnB).

Location was excellent. Right in the city, with parking space.

It's an excellent option for this price.

Nice location in the city center. The apartment is small but cozy and you have everything you need. The kitchen has all the utilities, the number is fresh and the balcony opens a nice view. I stayed with my family (4 persons) and we did not lack space in there even though we normally need 85 square meters to fit in without discomfort, but here we just stayed to sleep and eat, while we spent the rest of the time outdoors. It's a perfect apartment for active leisure with an ideal location.

    - You need to empty the trash bin in the room by yourself and bring the trash with you when you check out, like seriously? - You need to pay extra 20 Euro to get towels, bed sheet, pillowcases but still have to put on and take off by yourself. - Too many useless rules & guidelines on provided instruction paper in the room but not tell you about Wifi at all. After long wait to get help on this, The Wifi name and password was printed on TV edge with 20 alphabets! - The room layout with too many sections made it not very comfortable to stay. - The room was not very clean. The heaters were too small to make the whole room warm enough. - Difficult to find entrance. The location on Google Maps was wrong. It’s actually on the opposite side of the building. - Difficult to find the right locker to get the key because it didn’t look like a locker compared to others in the same box. - The building and the room was old, dark and not well maintained. - You need to climb up few steps and open few heavy doors before you can reach your room, so it’s not convenient if you come with big luggages. - The lights at the corridors was auto turned off too fast.

Good location. Only few minutes walk from the bus station if you take a BlaBlaCar bus from Annecy. Very close to supermarket and only few minutes walk to Aiguille du midi cable car station. The mountain view from the room.

Extremely small space, barely enough room to move for 4, maybe ok for 2. Not even a little tea, coffee, sugar for 2-3 days... would save trip to supermarket. Extra charge for linens, discussed before, but better if included in price.

Location is very convenient. Good communication with the owner. Lots of utensils but no supplies. Decent view from the window, but no usable balcony.
