First, it was really hard to find a staff who speaks english. Before arrival when i called to arrange arrival time it was impossible because female on reception didnt speak english. When i asked someone who speaks, she said that there is no one. (Its question did she knew what i asked). Second, parking. Hotel has a private parking but there was no free space because there is a restaurant for people who are not guests, so i parked infront of the entrance and was affraid that someone will damaged my car. But ok, it was not such a big problem as the third thing. Third, it was impossible to have dinner in hotel a la carte. It was day before Christmas and everything was closed so we came at hotel and asked for dinner. They answered that restaurant is full and we can not eat. I said that we can take the food in the room (sandwich, what ever) but that was not possible because, as they said, they have only 60 menues for 60 people who have dinner included in their package.

Location is perfect. Its between Colmar and Strasbourg. Room was very clean with a lot of space. Beds were a littlebit small but all in all it was fine.

Thin curtains let too much light in (our room had christmas lights blinking from the terrace lighting up the room all night), most staff did not speak English, some parts of the room were very outdated (e.g. bath tub)

Big tour group at breakfast meant it took a long while before I could reach the buffet or coffee.

On the GR5 / E2 long distance path this hotel was very conveniently placed in an attractive village. Modern facilities and a good restaurant on site.

No lift and a room on the 2 floor - heavy lifting after a day's cycling! Slightly disappointed that after the bottom fell out of a "stein" style beer glass showering the table and us with beer, the help to clear up was slow and the only apology was a replacement beer.

The view from the terrace where we ate dinner was amazing. The hotel was comfortable with good facilities. Staff mostly very welcoming.

It started with a pleasant welcome at the reception. The room on the top floor overseeing the vineyard was another highlight and there was a VIP parking lot reserved for my motorbike. The restaurant was busy and was undergoing some important renovations, but the food, wine and service by the friendly staff made up for it all. As a guest, you can feel the teams dedication and determination to climb up further on the ladder of quality rankings. Thanks again.

Housekeeping starting using a vacuum cleaner outside our room at 8AM, breakfast was not so great and a bit chaotic.

Dinner was excellent and service was friendly and efficient.

Renovation works during our stay, practically allowing for very limited to no common areas at all except the restaurant. Especially the outdoor area was difficult to access and enjoy. Building looked a bit 'tired'. Poor wi-fi. Not much going on at Andlau, having a car essential. Breakfast overpriced for available options.

Restaurant was great (best tarte flambée we had during our trip to Alsace). Large and clean room and comfy bed.
