How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

For a one night stopover it was quite a long walk to the city centre for food etc. and you have to cross the main railway line which makes it a bit longer still.
Very good value for money, room was large and clean, staff were helpful and friendly, spacious car park with no height restrictions

I would have liked the hot buffet to be restocked more.
The hotel was only a 15 minute walk from the city centre. The room had a lovely shower and it was great to have a fan in the room, given the heat. I really liked the fact that you could make your own freshly made orange juice at breakfast.

The room was quite small and the decoration and bathroom were dated.
It was good value, convenient for the station/metro and easy to access the centre of Lille. On-site parking was a bonus and the hotel was clean and functional. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Slightly tricky to find - but that was more about negotiating Lille rush hour traffic and confusing traffic system and does not reflect on the hotel.

Need to upgrade room and think about better air conditioning.
Everything was good, quite big room for family of 4, good shower, good breakfast, good choice of continental breakfast. Clean room. Room was little be warm even if our air conditioning worked. Close to centre walk distance 15 minutes.

It was a little far out for us, but we did know that it was quite far or before we booked… but the days we were there involved lots of walking around (Tour de France watching right over the other side of the city) so it was a bit of a slog to then get back to the hotel. But if we were just going into the city centre it would only be 15 minutes walk. Our bedroom was a little on the small side too but we didn’t spend much time in it so it was okay.
The team were very helpful. The bar downstairs was good, nice selection of drinks (not big but nice). It was much cheaper than other hotels that we looked at.

Little out dated, tv in room didn’t work. The lady on reception was very helpful and tried to fix for us but with no luck.
We enjoyed our stay at Kyriad Lille, we arrived by car around 1.30pm,parking in their free car park was no problem. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean, we had a family room as two adults two children. Perfect size with a little balcony. Shower was great! We got a uber into city centre which was about 12€ each way.

It was extremely loud. People making a noise at all hours of the night and no control by the staff to keep people quiet. Outside was noisy too. There was only coffee for one person, the second one was decaffeinated which is pretty useless.
Clean, everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice common area. Comfortable bed.

A little untidy around the edges. Room wasn’t serviced during our stay
Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful. Quiet location - it is a 5/10min walk from the centre or a short Metro ride. Superb shower, very comfy bed. A fan was provided and already on when we arrived as it was very hot

The position but it was as I anticipated.
It had parking which was my main criterion. It was not ideally situated but we were able to get to where we needed to but the price reflected this and enabled us to take taxis.

Would like to have a shelf in shower for products, and more shelf space by sink. The soap dispensers were difficult/almost empty.
Lovely staff, good breakfast. Room a good standard for price. Staff were super kind and helpful, especially Sidone.
