The hotel location was the best option for me. The staff seen on my first day was great.

There was a very strong smell of smelly drain in the bathroom. I had to keep a towel on the floor to block the smell. The shower needed a bit more cleaning. The fridge also in the room could be smaller & make less noise. Apart from that, all was fine. There was no one at the reception at 11:15 for the checkout. Otherwise, all was ok.

The front desk staff was very friendly and finishes at midnight. Parking was not a problem.

The beds where uncomfortable and the pillows where too thin. The location is 30mins from the centre.

Good value for the price - room was simple, and seemed somewhat recently renovated. Location was 10-15 minutes drive from downtown Marseille. The staff were helpful and gave instructions for the door code, wifi, etc. We also appreciated having Netflix.

As a cheaper stay, the cleanliness was not quite as high-level as desired. The overall facilities were not very high quality, with some large stains and scratches in the sink, etc. Cigarette smoke from other guests was at times very noticeable. A quick warning - there is a nearby neighborhood named "L'eau Des Collins," and when typing the hotel "L'eau Des Collins" into our maps app, it sent us to the neighborhood instead - about 15 minute drive away. Make sure to type in the actual address of the hotel when driving.

The carpets in the corridors and stairs are disgusting. The floor and the table in the room are sticky.
