How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's not immediate next to the city center, however, it's not really far on foot from the Musee Picardie or cathedral if you're fit

Our room overlooked the railway line at the back of the hotel and there were a few very noisy freight trains in the night.
Plenty of parking. Pleasant staff. Nice situation surrounded by trees. Good breakfast. The staff happily gave us extra tea bags and milk tubs when asked.

The balony isn't very nice, but okay for a smoke. The switch for the blinds could have been placed a bit more visibly. – Secret: it is located underneath the light switch by the bed.
Good location, very good breakfast. The city centre is in walking distance and it takes you about 20min to reach it. The room was big and quiet and the staff was nice.

Clean and comfortable, with a very large and spacious triple room and a generous bathroom. The hotel is very quiet, located near the racecourse, and just a few minutes’ drive from the city center.

Bathroom was more of a wet room when the shower was on! Took 2 towels to mop up! No local restaurants open on the Sunday or Monday. However Deliveroo deliver from the town if you don't want to go back in there!
Room was a decent size, had a balcony which was an unexpected bonus. Great parking. Good breakfast options. Comfortable bed. Decent shower. 25 minute walk into town. Local sushi takeaway was great on the Saturday night. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

To get to the interesting parts of Amiens we (old people) needed to use the car.

The facilities were a bit basic. There was no fridge. Only 2 teabags a day were supplied. No restaurant.
Large car park with free parking. Friendly staff. Reasonable location - quite a long walk into town. Super U 700m away.

No air conditioning which on the day we arrived was 30oC and room was very hot, a fan was provided which eased the situation a little.
Welcomed at reception with efficient check -in and provided with local information, room was ready and well presented.

Had a fan which was great but aircon may have helped more but actually slept well.
Very clean. Nice receptionist . Moderate but easily accessible walk into town . Balcony . Extra pillows .

Friendly staff and they were very accomodating in moving breakfast 30 minutes earlier for us as we had to check out early. The staff also let us store our bikes in a store room which was helpful as we were doing a charity bike ride to Paris.

Wasn't super keen on the black blinds which we didn't realise existed on the first night. If you have breakfast late some of the items were gone and not replenished.
The room was very clean and functional. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was good, not lots of choice but enough and of good enough quality. Plenty of parking and very easy to find. A good value hotel.

Only sheer curtain in room so light pollution from street lighting.
Very convenient location for motorway and supermarket fuel nearby. On site free parking, friendly staff, and dog friendly too. Pretty good continental breakfast at reasonable cost.

The breakfast was very disappointing, we stayed three nights and there was no bread (baguette or sliced for toast) on two mornings and on the morning there was bread there was not enough to feed the guests that wanted it. Croissant and Pan au Chocolate again not enough to go around ! Not good value for money at all Toilet seat was falling off - reported it but nothing was done about it.
It was easy to find from the motorway Location quiet area and great location, about 20 min walk to centre of town, bus stop nearby and taxi's available Free Parking at hotel Clean

Location close to busy roads.
The hotel is great when travelling (lots of parking spots), but not necessarily somewhere I would like to stay for a break as close to busy roads and away from town center, but then it was easy enough to walk to a restaurant/takeaway not far away. It felt like we were the only guests but I was surprised to see it was quite busy at breakfast time. Good buffet breakfast. It is very clean (recently opened/refurbished?). Good WiFi. Is very animal friendly.

This is fairly new and the linoleum smell is still strong. It will vanish over time!
