We paid for a deluxe room but could see little difference between this room and the one we had last year.

A beautiful location. Very peaceful & relaxing. Far enough away to avoid the tourists traps, but close enough to visit all historical locations, towns & cities in Normandy, without difficulty. Very polite & helpful staff. Between our pigeon French & English, we were able to check in & arrange restaurant details very smoothly.

No bar to get a cold beer on a very hot day. Odd to have chips which had gone soggy in the gravy of the delicious beef stew

Good quiet location. Room spotlessly clean.

Personally, I didn’t want for anything more. We stayed in three hotels on this trip each of a similar cost but this one was miles ahead of the other two. I cannot recommend a better hotel for value for money. Its location also made it an ideal base for the activities we wanted to do

The staff were excellent. Spoken language was difficult between us but the staff excelled in non spoken communication and so there were very few difficulties.

I liked everything. I would only suggest that during breakfast they would offer more than ‘American style’ coffee. Other types such as cappuccino or macchiato for example.

An eccellente position for all the D-Day Beaches. Extremely quiet.

The rooms were very sparse and utilitarian. Very basic everything. But it served our purposes. The reason I selected this property was so my kids could have some outdoor activities, namely ping pong, after long days of sightseeing. Unfortunately, they were forbidden from playing after 4pm or before 10am because they would disturb diners at the restaurant. But it was totally fine for the bikers to roll in during those times and make tons of noise. We were very disappointed.

Good location for visiting the landing beaches … it was clean and quiet

I didn’t know how to check out, so I ended up wandering around the front desk for about 30 minutes. (I should have asked at check-in.) Fortunately, a gentleman who seemed to be the owner happened to come by and kindly helped me out, so I was able to leave with a good feeling. Still, it might be helpful to have clearer instructions, like a key return box.

The room is compact but very comfortable, with everything you need. The view from the window is especially breathtaking — just gazing at it is soothing and relaxing. The staff only spoke French, but with the help of a translation app, communication wasn’t a problem. The dinner, including the wine and food, was absolutely delicious and thoroughly enjoyable.

We could not drink our own beer or wine on the premises. there was not anywhere to sit together inside apart from our roon to chat with our friends as the room was too small for all of us and it was cold outside. There was no milk in the roon for the tea and coffee. as brits we like our mike.

The breakfast was basic. The advertised English speaking was not too good but better than my French. The evening dinner was excellent.
