Everything from the kitchen is of the highest quality - including breakfast, but particularly dinner, where the quality is exceptional. If it is to your taste, try the Steak Tartare, which is outstandingly good.

We were travelling as group of 10 motorcyclists and there is no sitting room indoors at the hotel if the weather is bad. The owners Magalie and Jerome are delightful in such a situation and offer to let us gather in the restaurant, but as can be imagined, a group of bikers are notoriously loud and other guests have to be considered.

Did not have breakfast. Location was excellent, near our friends. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was well equipped.

Reception hours were very limited. Much of the daytime, the gate to access the property was locked, meaning that you had to use your keys to get in! There was no air conditioning and the window opening was very limited, meaning that it was very hot in the room, even though you had a fan. Made it difficult to get to sleep on warm nights. No comfy chair provided due to lack of space.

Good location near the D-Day beaches. Good breakfast.

Dinner was pleasant but didn't meet expectations.

We have stayed before. Find it convenient.

We paid for a deluxe room but could see little difference between this room and the one we had last year.

Quiet location but close to Port le Bessin with its fabulous restaurants and walks. Breakfast was fine but limited. Lots of parking and lovely garden areas Very friendly owners.

The rooms are very small and no clean towels offered during three night stay.

A beautiful location. Very peaceful & relaxing. Far enough away to avoid the tourists traps, but close enough to visit all historical locations, towns & cities in Normandy, without difficulty. Very polite & helpful staff. Between our pigeon French & English, we were able to check in & arrange restaurant details very smoothly.

The hôtel is in a beautiful spot about 15 minutes from Bayeux and 5 from Port en Bessin. It looked charming as we approached it and was full of character. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

I wish I had stayed longer!

What a great find, 11 mins from Arromanches and far from the other landing beaches, the owner was friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable and the building unique. Also the restaurant was excellent as was the staff.

I don't think it could be bettered

    Location was good.

Limited menu. Basic bedrooms and no air conditioning. We were told to keep the noise down at 22.00 pm even though we were just talking and finishing dinner, because guests were sleeping.

Good quiet location. Room spotlessly clean.

No bar to get a cold beer on a very hot day. Odd to have chips which had gone soggy in the gravy of the delicious beef stew
