Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

First of all, the accommodation is located very close to Aix-en-Provence — in just 8 minutes you’re already in the city. La Ferme feels like it’s been taken straight out of those beautiful books about Provence: there’s lavender, a lovely pool, colorful flowers, and charming little houses with blue shutters — in one word, wonderful. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had fresh, white towels and perfectly ironed bed linens. Every day, the hosts made sure the room was tidy and clean, if needed. Speaking of the hosts, they are truly kind and helpful people. They gave us clear and useful tips about what to visit, where to park in the city, and the best places to eat in Aix or the surrounding area. Breakfast was also delicious — besides the great coffee, we always looked forward to a friendly chat with the host, who would share interesting facts about France or other equally fascinating topics. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay somewhere that combines beauty and the comforting feeling of home.

GermanyAll good
We spent 7 nights at La Ferme. It really was a wonderful time in a fantastically idyllic complex centred around the owner's private estate. The houses are of older, solid, romantic construction, very well maintained and the bed & breakfast rooms are beautifully and functionally furnished. The Wi-Fi works well and there is a fridge and kettle that you can't hear and you can also prepare small private snacks, which you can then enjoy anywhere in the garden area if you wish. Depending on the room type, a TV is also available. There is also a really nice pool area. The very large garden area and also the breakfast area create a warm, inviting and private atmosphere. There are many beautiful corners to explore and the large goldfish pond is a haven of peace in this complex. Mr Fournier is always available for questions and tips and really advised us with great recommendations for day trips and places worth seeing. We will be very happy to come back if our travels take us to Provence again. A clear recommendation.

United KingdomAll was good.
The accommodation was clean and exceptionally spacious. We loved the location, generous parking, beautiful gardens, and stunning scenery all around. The bed was comfortable, a really good shower, and breakfast was delicious. Best of all was our host, M. Fournier, who as well as being helpful and friendly, is an intelligent and knowledgeable man. He knows a great deal about the local area, and we enjoyed our conversations with him about history, politics, and culture. We also appreciated his recommendations of places to visit in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Ferme. Jean is a wonderful and kind host who made us feel right at home. We only stayed two nights but wished we had stayed longer. He runs his B&B with a lot of love and you can see and feel that everywhere. The house and garden are lovely. The breakfast was delicious and Jean gave us great tips for hikes and restaurants in the area

HungaryThere is genuinely nothing not to love.
Everything! This is a gorgeous, unique property a very short drive from Aix, and walking distance from mountain trails. John is a great host, and super helpful. He helped us with a walking trail, and even made a dinner reservation for us. The room for 4 people is really a mini apartment - homely, spacious and comfortable. Our whole family loved the swimming pool! The photos don’t do this place justice. If you are in the area, you should definitely visit.

TurkeyThis was our second stay in La Ferme. This is a peaceful place to spend a couple of nights and recharge again. Close to Aix-en Provence but away from the crowd. You can listen the sounds of the trees and birds. You can spend the whole day at the pool area or you can drive to lavender fields or Luberon villages in between 30-45 minutes. Owner. Jaan is helpful with all the requests. This is a place we will visit the 3 rd time in the coming years. Cihan
