We loved the whole experience during our one night stay. What a beautiful home you have Philippe and Marie. We will certainly try to arrange our next journey from the UK to Spain to pass by once again to see you.

The chambre et table d'hôtes La Grande Ourse was a wonderful place to stay. Philippe and Marie have a lovely, characterful home and are warm and welcoming - it felt like staying with friends. We had many interesting discussions during our stay, and received lots of advice from Philippe who loaned us maps and recommended a superb walk for us. The highlight of the stay was the dinner! Based on the reviews on booking.com, we requested the table d'hote on both evenings and had two really outstanding dinners. Both Marie and Philippe are superb cooks, sourcing ingredients from their kitchen garden at the front of the house and locally. The Yorkshireman with a large appetite was most impressed! We must also mention having breakfast around the kitchen table with family and other guests as being very special. Thank you Philippe and Marie for the most wonderful stay with you, and for your kindness, warmth and generosity! We hope to return.

Nothing - this was a home from home experience. Exceptional!

Good communication Excellent hosts set the bar high for other hosts. Hosts are fluent in English, German, and Italian. We had wonderful dinner (25euro each) mostly from their garden. The house is like a museum with wonderful character. Easy parking in front.

Bathroom was very tight and the slanted ceilings made it even tighter. Smallest shower ever. We would still be happy to return.

This is a very special place where we were treated like friends rather than guests. Philippe is a solicitous and genial.host. Marie Noelle tends a very productive 'potager' and is a talented cook. We ate meals with them and other guests around their kitchen table and ate the most wonderful food. The bedroom was comfortable and the whole house a delight. An unforgettable experience.

Located in a very nice area of the French Pyrenees, ideal for hiking, relaxing and enjoying nature, this rural house offers a lovely room with a superb breakfast at an excellent price. Filip and Marie made our stay unforgettable. We truly enjoyed ourselves, the local gastronomy and area.

Excellent hosts, very welcoming and attention to detail and worked hard to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The evening meal was superb. All the guests ate together and we're very pleasant, making us as English speakers feel welcome. The food was prepared using local or owner produced ingredients. From the apperitif to the desert the quality and presentation was excellent and very good value. Philippe and Maria were excellent hosts. The breakfast again was excellent, home made bread and preserves, home made yoghurt and fresh fruits. All delightful.

Marie-Noëlle et Philippe are wonderfully welcoming, and our one-night stay with them is a highlight of our six week road trip across the south of France They are very knowledgeable about the area. I'm confident that no matter what your interests might be they'll be able to point you in the right direction.The property has been sensitively restored throughout whilst maintaining its original character. It's very cosy and homely with things like a good hot shower and a very comfy bed. :) The opportunity to enjoy one of Marie-Noëlle's evening meals, made with home grown produce, is not to be missed ... nor is breakfast!!

What an amazing stay. Marie and Phillippe are some of the most welcoming hosts we have met and made us feel very much at home. We traveled over the Easter holiday and decided to take advantage of the option to dine at the B&B. Marie is a fabulous cook and much of our meal came from her garden. She sets a lovely table and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and beautifully presented. This is an old home with lots of charm and history. Be sure to visit the Barry Tower on the hillside behind the B&B for gorgeous views.

Marie and Filipe are just amazing! It was a great pleasure to have made a stop in their place while traveling with my mum around Spain and France. What a wonderful memory!! Their place really makes you feel at home, all the details, everything! They offer the best dinner and breakfast in town, so if they offer you, go for it. You won't regret a bit, it will be a lot better than anything in the region. 💕 Again, thank you Marie and Filipe for the conversation and great staying!
