Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomEasy to find, self-contained apartment at bottom of garden with own entrance. We let ourselves in using the clear instructions to access a key safe. The apartment was well equipped with a washing machine, induction hob, microwave and coffee machine. 30 min walk to centre of Bordeaux via a pleasant path along the riverside. There was no direct contact with the hosts, but they responded immediately when we had a query. We were able to store our bicycles uncovered in the courtyard.

CanadaNothing about the apartment itself, it's perfect. Maybe the location; because it is on a residential street, there is not much around, so the nearest bakery and supermarket are ten minutes away on foot.
The apartment had everything you could need. Very clean and brand new. The owner had also provided us with some basic food items, like coffee, tea, sugar, oil-vinegar, etc. plus a bottle of Bordeaux wine on arrival! Because it is located in the backyard of a house, it is very quiet. Only a 5-minute walk to the nearest tram (line C), which will take you to the St Jean train station and the lively downtown area. A very nice place to base from and discover the beautiful city of Bordeaux.
