Just the room decoration is outdated and the bathroom needs an overhaul, but given the price it wasn't a big deal.

The bed was very comfortable. We wanted to visit that area off Normandie so the location was perfect. It was very tranquil. Good value for money

No smoke alarm in room. Bedside lights/tables were rather low, and could have done with brighter lighting. The baguette ran out quickly at breakfast time! None of the above would stop us returning, as we had a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Extremely spacious, well-appointed room, with large table and chairs and full size fridge. Cool in the hot weather. Quiet and calm setting. Good breakfast, especially enjoyed the home-made jams and good coffee. Completely independent with own entrance, could come and go as we pleased. Ideal for a stay with the dogs.

There's no air-conditioning, and the room was a little musty. The grounds around the property could be better kept.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this place is perfect. We had a 4-person family room that was very well equipped.

The Black Pearl room with en suite is really nicely decorated with great use of space for bunk beds and lots of light with a window each side of the room. However, the light hanging at the end of the double bed is too low and both my husband and I hit our heads off it more than once!!

The location is good for those who wish to visit the D Day beaches. The house is situated beside a pond and we were delighted to find an otter family (5 pups) to amuse us while we sat and watched the sun go down!

I had an accident AFTER booking the room , however these are my findings with my current mobility & walking with a stick . Be very aware of steps to the Asia room , it was ok but not ideal . Couldn’t use the shower as a big step up into it . The towels were very small . The path to the breakfast verandah needs urgent attention ,it was very uneven and with a good few really wobbly slabs . The plumbing was extremely noisy after the room downstairs had used the toilet , it may have been the same for them after we had used ours! There was a huge fridge , some fresh milk would have been good , along with standard tea bags , fruit ones are lovely but not all the time .

A little slice of heaven as we drank coffee outside our room with a view of the Lake and cows. Very relaxing. A lovely experience of French countryside.

Breakfast was on the veranda which is not an issue if the weather is nice. Unfortunately the weather was rainy and cold meaning we had to walk through the rain to get to breakfast. Not a deal breaker, but it was something we were not expecting. Also, use Google Maps to find the location, not Apple maps. Apple took us to another (private) property - we figured out we were not in the right place and switched maps to find the correct location.

The owner was so nice! We were on a quick trip through Normandy and needed a place to stay the night not too far off the beaten path between Mont St Michele and Cherbourg. This little bed and breakfast was perfect for our needs. The room was exactly as described. The bathroom was FANTASTIC! My sister and I loved the shower - it was amazing. Beds were super comfortable. The WiFi was good - more than adequate for our use. Our privacy was respected and that was much appreciated. Breakfast was perfect - breads, yogurt, coffee and even quince jam - yummy! The property has a little creek in the back and the camillas were in bloom - just lovely. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.
