We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Germanythere were no linens for the duvet cover and pillow. spiders and spiderwebs in the corners. bathroom fixtures broken. we had a very hard time finding it and navigating our way to the room.

Belgiumcheck in process was horrible. there was no clear instructions, we called before arriving and they said we could arrive anytime. they only sent a message with the check in information when we arrived and asked at the restaurant. it was advertised that there was parking but it was all taken by the restaurant clients. we had to park far.

Portugalthe apartment was not clean, shampoo samples were used, there was dirt on the floor and the single bed was not ready on arrival. on the toilet the toilet dryer was full of dust and some hairs… and as the suits are above a restaurante, the smell of the restaurant spreads all over the house. for the price was not that fine but comparing the prices this time of the year… ok
the location is good between Strasbourg and Colmar. we were 3 people. the big bed was super fine.

GermanyIf you are looking for a noisy and smelly apartment with no oxygen this is the place for you! What a horrible experience! We were given an apartment situated on top of a restaurant, something which we were not told in advance. The first impression you get is the when entering the apartment through the same door as the entrance to the restaurant (!!!) Then you are treated with a horrible smell in the stairwell leading to the apartment itself. Oh, and in the stairway you get a glimpse of the owners smelly shoes just laying there in the hallway. The apartment is located on a main, noisy road, and thus you cannot open windows to get any ventilation or fresh air. We hardly slept the first night!!! Last but not least, the kitchen was infested with disgusting flies...a very bad experience! We recommend looking for other alternatives.
