We spent 6 nights at La Tonnellerie. An amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. Staff is incredibly polite and helpful! We would definitely love to come back.

I would have preferred breakfast to be included in the price of the room.

The hotel is situated in a quiet village, and has a beautiful courtyard garden. We had a family room which was very comfortable and recently decorated, with two separate rooms with a bathroom in between. The breakfast was very good, and lovely to be able to have it outside on the terrace. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk to Beaugency which has lots of restaurants. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Only three parking spaces inside, but space on the street outside. Very quiet little road.

A charming old building with a quiet courtyard and garden for drinks and meals, garden, pool and rooms round about. Very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room with big fridge and kitchenette. Care taken to explain the history and family connections. Unexpectedly welcoming.

We would have preferred a regular restaurant. The idea with meal in a glas bottle seemed good but did not taste very much.

It’s a relaxing hotel with a lovely garden and nice pool. The family room was big with two separate bedrooms.

No dinner provided but we did get the opportunity to have dinner in Beaugency which we really enjoyed both in terms of restaurant and the opportunity to walk around the ancient and lovely town centre

Our room was sizable and very comfortable with a quiet aspect looking onto a very pretty patio and garden. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. We found the host very welcoming and enjoyed meeting some of the other guests.

Very nice breakfast with plenty of options and supplies endlessly refreshed. Our rooms were large and comfortable. One person in our group had a sheet that was not clean but that was sorted out very quickly.

We love the setting. The sitting room is gorgeous. The outside is beautifully landscaped. The breakfast is delicious with homemade pastries, yoghurt, granola and local dairy products. The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. My favourite hotel in the world.

Beautifully restored and maintained old property with a lush and picturesque garden. Was able to charge the electric car, and have the dog. Well equipped kitchen in our studio room, and Francois was so lovely, explaining the history of the place and making us feel welcome. Lovely breakfast also. Beaugency nearby is a very historic and beautiful town with a stunning bridge and lovely walk next to the Loire river.

The property is not designed for young kids. We were asked to keep the noise down when our kids came and had a dip at the end of a hot day. I understand why, but equally kids having fun is not noise pollution in some environments
