The views are outstanding and especially the terrace for breakfast looking out over the river and cliffs was great. The way the room is built into the cliff and especially the design of the bathroom is really cool and very unique. Socrate the dog is also super cute.

What could have been a really great experience was a let down. We were prepared for a little dust on the floor staying in a cave-like room, but there were other cleanliness issues like hair from previous guests and food scattered on the terrace. The breakfast also should have been really special, but there were no plates and some of the bread was stale (and the host was absent, so no opportunity to resolve it). Heat is probably not an issue most of the year, but for us in mid-August it got warm and stuffy in the room and with no windows or other ventilation the only way to get any fresh air is with the door wide open. A simple fan would have saved us from a very uncomfortable night.

Location second to none, on balcony overlooking the whole valley. Some beautiful elements to the breakfast including ripe fruit, lovely bread and cheese. However the coffee (in thermos) was mediocre and lukewarm, as was the water for tea - that is the one thing that could be improved (e.. why not have an electric water jug so we could make our own, steaming hot). Location is absolutely magnificent and Boris the host was very nice and helpful.

As advertised, the bedroom was built into the rock of the cliffs, which is very romantic. It's inherent to the architecture of such rooms that they are dark, but unfortunately the room has no window, nor does the door have a glass pane, so as soon as you close it you lost all fresh air and view of the valley. It would really help to instal a window.
