The main issue is the cleanliness. You can see that they do clean but some stains were of questionable origin. The hotel is quite run down but still cosy enough to feel good there

The hotels location is phenomenal and they do have parking which was a must for us. The parking was a bit difficult to get out but still. The staff were super cute even dough they didn’t speak a word of English we managed to communicate.

Wifi didn't reach the 2nd floor, although lack of wifi, though inconvenient, did not spoil my visit. On Sunday afternoon while I was out, the hotel closed down completely, I think I was the only guest, and when I left on the Monday it was still closed. They didn't tell me. I had to lug my case down 2 flights of stairs, which they had promised to do. There was no cleaning done in my room and the bin wasn't emptied during my three day visit.

I enjoyed my stay despite the hotel's failings. My room had a great view, the staff were friendly and the location was great. It's decades since I stayed anywhere with sheets, blankets and a bedspread, rather than a duvet but in fact it worked out well because it was hot and it was easy to dispense of layers but still stay covered. I loved the quirkiness of this hotel but if you prefer a sterile one then this is not for you. Leave it for the slightly eccentric like me.

The reception was not run for 24 hours, and if you don't speak French, you will have a problem to communicate with staff.

There were quite a few cosmetic issues like holes in the walls, dirty walls, broken shower holder, ac did not make room cold at all. Really poor lighting in bathroom. But everything Was technically doable.

The location was amazing! Functioning window saved us from heat.

The ability to unload the car on arrival before 19.00 when the streets are less congested and the road train has ceased to operate

Upon arrival there is a closed down part of the building and on the approach I did think I’ve been scammed here and the property is closed down. Thankfully just round the bend the rest of the property was open. Despite a very old and sparse stairwell into the property the room had everything we needed and the view was to die for. Very clean and surprised we had the room serviced each day.

The location was fab and the fact it had its own car park was a huge bonus. I had never visited the area before and had no idea the car situation would be quite difficult and soo busy with people. Perhaps the location of it and access prior to arrival would have made things just a little smoother.

It all felt a bit overpriced for what it offered, and the staff did not exactly go out of their way to communicate or converse (but that may have been a language issue of course)

A lot... bed are worn out... fridges (in both rooms we used) were left with rotten food... Stupid design, electricity is cut off when customers are outside the room... fridge warms up. Food was not removed after previous clients left and the smell was horrible.

Bathroom could have better lighting as it was quite dark !

We love Moustier Saint Marie, such a lovely place !!!! Philippe was very helpful and friendly, assisting my husband in locating the parking for hotel quests which we probably wouldn't have found on our own. The room was nicely air conditioned which we appreciated as it was so hot. Everything was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. We were disappointed the hotel restaurant was not opened on Monday night as we were tired after a long drive to Moustier and were hoping for an early dinner as most restaurants opened at 7.30pm, but we did find a lovely Pizza place across the street from the hotel with wonderful wait staff!
