Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe location is beautiul when you can take advantage of wonderful hiking nearby. Unfortunately, it was unusually cold and rainy on our one full day there. Our host suggested we go to Bourg St-Maurice (30 min away) where she said it would be a little warmer (it was) and we could find some indoor activities (we visited the Beaufort cheese museum).
The breakfast buffet provided some interesting local breads, yogurt, cheese, applesauce and jams. There is also a dinner option which we regretted not taking on the first night as the local restaurants had all closed for the summer season a few days before our arrival, and so we had to drive to Landry to find an open restaurant. We ate in on the second night and appreciated the convenience of a tasty 3-course meal. The room was very small but the single beds were comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. Amélie was a helpful host.

NetherlandsWe really liked location of the hotel. It is one of the buitiful places I have ever been. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need for a short stay. We played pingpong and table football and enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was good and served perfectly.

United KingdomNot much. It's quite isolated with no shops or restaurants within walking distance, but the bus stops outside. Our room was basic with twin beds but perfectly comfortable and reasonably priced.
Nice friendly independent hotel. Beautiful location on a quiet road just out of Nancroix village. Mountain views both sides of the valley. 5-10 minutes drive to lift stations at Piesey in the Les Arcs area. We had no problem street parking for free in Peisey under the Vanoise Express to LA Plagne area. In the opposite direction it's 1Km to the Nordic ski center which we tried on our last day and thoroughly enjoyed. Off street parking in front of the hotel. The local ski us stops outside but we used the car. We opted for half board, which included simple buffet breakfast and very enjoyable hearty home style evening meals, house wine quite drinkable and reasonable. Bar area comfortable for a swift aperitif. We would love to go back in the summer, maybe next year! If driving don't rely on Google maps, there is only one way in via Landry, not over the mountains on dirt tracks that are ski runs!

United KingdomNo issues or complaints.....☺️
The accommodation was clean, fresh and comfortable. Our room (Edelweiss) was large, warm and sunny, with two French windows opening onto the balcony overlooking the road and hills beyond. The bathroom which was a good size, had a walk in shower with constant hot water on tap. There was a lounge area with comfy chairs, WiFi and TV, and a small but well stocked bar open from 1600-2100. The restaurant was downstairs, with views over the valley and beyond. Breakfast was self service, and the set menu evening meal was table service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt totally at home. The boot room in the basement was large and serviceable. The free bus service which ran twice an hour was literally from the top of the drive, with dropoff/pick up at the Lozagne Lift (lobster pots) at Le Villaret (below Plan Peisey). We loved our stay with Amelié and co. and will hopefully return in the future.

FranceFood at dinner (included in room price) was somewhat institutional, the interior decor even more so (it looks like a converted "centre de vacances"). It's all impeccably clean but don't expect cutesy chalet style on the inside.
Very convenient for the ski bus to both alpine and nordic areas. Gorgeous views up the valley to the Vanoise national park.

GermanyThe interior somewhat resembles a youth hostel, it could be slightly less functional perhaps. During our stay also it may have been that something with the plumbing was broken, at least some areas benefited from opening windows.
Nice location and nice staff.
